Well he can fuck off then lazy c**t-no balls no passion let him fuck offhttp://www1.skysports.com/football/...eon-clarke-frustrated-by-delayed-wolves-deal?
Really mate, feel so sorry for you (not) :slap:
watch the game again and follow his every movement compared to Moussa. You're wrong.
If Clarke wasn't trying, or wasn't carrying out team instructions, then why did Pressley keep him on the pitch? Are you saying that Pressley is a poor manager?
I think Pressley has shown that if players don't pull their weight the shrift they receive is rather short, so I assume the manager was happy, and that's good enough for me.
he was left on as our top striker to pinch a goal and was given 3 good chances. Moussa came off because he ran himself into the ground.
Plus our bench is weak.
If Pressley thought Clarke wasn't doing the job he would have been subbed, regardless of whether the bench is weak or not, or do you consider Pressley to weak to do that?
Moussa was excellent, no one has doubted that, but if people are saying Clarke wasn't trying by comparing him to Moussa then surely, by using that argument, then many others weren't trying. Obviously an absurd argume
nt.
We were playing with 10 men while leon trotted about without switching on one sweat gland.
Moussa battled, tried to win the ball, hold it up and play it back into midfield. He was all over the place while Clarke trotted about. Not once did he really put an Arsenal player under pressure.
His hardworking team mates played him in three times times for him to show League 1 is his level.
He hit the post when he had all the goal at his mercy, it kicked off an Arsenal shin otherwise it was going well wide.
5 from me when all the others were 7 or 8.
He's been fantastic while he's been here so I don't bear him any ill. As I've said previously the world won't end when he leaves. Before you know it we'll have a new hero.
why should we accept a £500k bid from wolves when Nakhi Welles went for £2.4We're not a charity leon. You're under contract and until wolves put in a suitable offer why would we sell ?!

yes but sp, gibbo went Man Utd and Nottingham Forest European Champions can hardly blame them at the time .Sometimes footballers seem to keep their brains in their boots. Leon is having the best time of his nomadic football career. The most goals over an extended period - in his terms. A manager who is getting the best out of him, playing him in a system that serves him well. You'd think he'd want to keep the run going, not jinx it. A shame. When he's 40 and looks back he'll reflect and think what a bad move I made.
It reminds me of Ian Wallace, streets ahead of Leon of course. Some great seasons with us, working in a team that gave him the service. He left and was never the same. His career tailed off. Ditto Terry Gibson.
Sorry Torch, there are very few footballers alive who qualify as 'heroes'. Leon Clarke definitely ain't one of them.
last of the field Friday night after acknowledging the fansFirst down the tunnel after the game at Preston. Rest of the team gave us applause from the half way line (and SP) . His heads gone , shows in his football ,goodbye Leon
