How the hell can you hope to make the play offs with the size of squad we have?
I am totally dismayed by sisu they have hamstrung pressley provided no funds of any worth and here we have another season dead in the water.
If Clarke goes and he should in my opinion, that money will quickly disappear. What has this club come to when we are playing a 16 year old kid who obviously isn't ready......words fail me over the deplorable state that my club is now in.

I said on another thread this must be so disheartening for Pressley. Having to play a full back or a striker up front is ridiculous. How would you sell the club to any player you are looking to bring in at at the moment??

For God's sake! They have been funding the Club for how long? Give us a break and please look at the bigger picture, we're not in a great position but that's not just down to the owners. Others are equally to blame for this debacle!

Listen to Steven Pressley interview with BBC CWR tonight.

It's all down to the owners. They stopped paying rent. They moved out of the Ricoh. They put the club into admin over a debt they hadn't payed. They agreed to play in Northampton. They got us relegated by employing an inept clown on the cheap. They are suing a charity. They have presided over the worse time for our club in my living history.

Fuckin come back Richardson at least he had a fuckin punt in the fuckin premier fuckin league .

You sir are a fucking moron.

So what ARE we going to do...

Surely the time has come to up the ante!! How can we make it really uncomfortable for sisu? Obviously what we're doing isn't enough. With the play-offs still in reach, but only just, sisu don't give a monkey's. It's needs an all-out boycott at sixfields for starters..one things for sure, with the size of our squad and the pressure building, the quality of football isn't going to get any better....more marches and protests needed...worthy of a club of our status...cos at the moment we're in serious danger of just being blown away...we have to show we care on a much bigger scale.

Ah well . I don't give a fuck anymore. We are in division 3 . I don't care about finances but i know this. I would rather be watching City in the premier league with some fucking arsehole losing money than being in division 3 with owners who make out that the club "has to break even" even though all they do is pile on more fucking debt while giving us the shittest team in my living history.

SISU ownership of Coventry City, it appears SISU have very little interest in success on the pitch and customer relations.

Anyone noticed?

There is no way you are a true supporter - i can't believe you can be so calm about the death of our club

Edgy - you are an intelligent man and a proven supporter over many many seasons - why are you refusing to see the elephant that is - we have no fuckin ground to play at, we have no support, we have no income, we have no future and for what? What is the master plan that Sisu have? To get their own stadium or to get the Ricoh on the cheap?? There will be no club by the end of the season - surely you can see that unless there is some movement towards coming back to Coventry - the city that bears the clubs name!!

Uncle Joe Elliott, the man white-knighted by Coventry City fans whom didn't do his research on hedge funds.

It's ok because he's from Coventry and Sky Blue through and through we still love him.

I am sure he regrets that big time. A lot of people were taken in by it but plenty of warning at the time by some I remember. No-one could have predicted this though although rumblings about the RICOH arrangement did exist.

SISU are to blame squarely though on team league position. SISU are the ones that left Ricoh against fans wishes.

That's a bit dramatic Dale. It's widely recognised that Pressley has this bunch playing the best football City fans have witnessed in many a year. It's crumbling because of a long term injury to Wilson and Clarke being the c**t we always knew he was. Pressley admits he has the support of the owners but can't get players in. We've been unlucky and I feel sorry for Pressley and his squad.

They look good because of the level they are playing at . Great start to the season and some great results but I have seen this with City so many times and they always, always seem to fuck it up. My opinion is that unless the wankers in charge get some money out of their pockets and try to undo the years of under investment Pressley will do one soon enough. Clarke is just another in a long, long line.

I see all that Pete but where I and you differ is that I see SISU are not the only ones to blame in the sorry saga. They are to blame, but they not alone.

I really don't - i think that ccc could have negotiated a change of terms with acl sooner and reduced the rent before it became a big issue. I also think that people like Mutton were unprofessional in there public statements. But fundamentally there is one group to blame for taking our club hostage and that is the one thing that has made this situation untenable. There have been worse owners than Sisu and I don't doubt they have invested some money - millions but they have alienated 90% of their customer base and I can see no way forward. What more can CCC do that offer the Ricoh on a rent free basis whilst acknowledging there are match day costs that would need funding

You're right about the football we are playing. However, If Pressley is getting the support of our owners, why is it that he still struggles in the transfer market. From what I can see other teams don't seem to have the same problems as us in the transfer market. I read that we are interested in a player or that we are in talks or that we are monitoring. Other clubs just make an offer and then sit down with the player to offer them a good deal, why can't we do that? I've said it before that Joy said in her interview said that the squad would be strengthened and before the transfer window we were told that Pressley 6 or 8 targets (or something like that) so why are some on here moaning that Clarke has to go first? You're right though, we have been unlucky. Unlucky that we ever got this shower of shit as owners in the first place

Why is Pressley surprised he can't bring players in,short contracts offered ,poor wages, playing in front of non-league sized crowds in a third rate cowshed of a stadium.

Wilson is the biggest loss to this team.

I agree but if they had any sort of ambition for us they would buy a new striker , not rely on free transfers and loans . All we seem to be is a debt dump for some bunch of rich toffee nose fuckers probably called fuckin Tarquin.
Wankers the lot of 'em. I'm gonna go kick the dog :sarcasm:

Ps I see RFC hasn't replied yet about facts .

Could we please lay off RFC, he is entitled to his opinion even if you think his opinion is odd or otherwise. This could be considered as a personal attack and against the rules of the site.

Thank you for your understanding.

well said. There's far too much in the way of personal attacks on here these days. And it tends to be people ganging up on an individual with a different opinion (See the Grendal thread the other day).
