I'm liking Pressley's dig at Clarke's transfer request and even his swipe at Moussa recently.
But he wasn't like this earlier on was he ? He was the sort of manager to keep his feelings in the dressing room. But is this him now settled into his job with us and he feels like he'll say what he wants,or him showing signs of pressure ?

I think to begin with it was build unity. Now we are at the stage where if you don't pull your weight or haven't bought into group ethos...you are fair game for criticism.

It is only what most fans see anyway.

I like Pressleys tactics and observations on the game. He is more important to us than any player at the moment.

It's about time a manager showed pride in the Coventry shirt and acknowledged the best teams do it off the back of hard work. If someone puts in a shift let's support them.

Greg Downes got respect from fans for grafting and sticking to the task at full back. Everyone was delighted when he finally got a goal for city.

Best manager yes , but pressure is showing before the game he said he believed what Clarke had told him about the injury, we all know what he said after the game, i think it would have not been said if we'd won. Fisher said "the manager would have a competative squad ", no disrespect to the young lad Thomas and Jordan Clarke, but a 16 year old and a right back/ converted , center back playing up front, is more like comical than competative. This team and manager have been superb all season , but as people did point out months ago we have young lads and a tiny squad, as soon as injuries , suspensions come we are in trouble , and that's whats happening. May be pressure is not the right word frustration is a better description, when he said these lads need help, i believe he was appealing to Fisher and co.

I feel he is feeling pressure as all managers do but managing our club isn't the easiest is it ?You are right though maybe frustration is a better word,but the likes of Clarke asking for a move and even feigning injury aren't helping him,in fact it is making his job even harder.

Bit of both, Pressure as he isn't winning now and passion because you can tell he cares.

He knows that we could have got a result last night if Clarke had played. Chances were created as always but there was not a recognised striker on the pitch. that's frustration and annoyance with a player who has proven to have misled his manager. Pressley was right to express his anger and at the same time reiterate the need for help in bringing in some urgent replacements so our season does not fade and the outside chance of a playoff lottery place is still up for grabs.

As a footnote. I see Ismail Miller who I saw for WBA a few seasons ago in a friendly against us is playing at Yeovil (bottom of Championship) scored again last night. An accomplished premier league standard in my opinion but due to events finds himself where he is. Can't we make a serious effort to get someone like that? he plays with power and speed and a touch and go approach of passing, much like we do. He would be awesome in league 1 where he is obviously headed anyway...

It's definitely passion, I don't see him as a pressure kind of guy, but he is massively disappointed about the loyalty, or lack of, that a guy we took on who had a bad reputation and no club only a matter of approx a year ago can display. He is putting all the effort in, as are most of the players and he has a great outfit, but in the absence of good owners who would pump some much necessary cash in ... he has ran this club on a shoestring and his loyalty to the players, by not leaving, has been there for all to see ... BAR Clarke of course ... hence the frustration.

Lets be fair he has said he has the owners support to go ahead and bring players in, the problem is identifying them and getting them to agree. We are a bigger 'sell' these days to any player and wages could be an issue but when he says 'help' he means we need help for the team to continue their form by bringing in much needed strikers having lost two of the leagues top goal scorers.

Pride, passion frustration whatever, faith in the manager regardless!
Our style of play has made a mediocre journeyman look like and act like a prima dona superstar, the right style of play and an interested if not better (at least on par) striker should do just as well, get one in and let him go, the sooner the better for all concerned.

SP has showed passion for this Club since the moment he arrived, I have been to watch a few U18 games this season since they moved back to the AHC and the way Pressley is with other fans and kids is glorious to witness. Even watching the U18's he provides advice from atop of the slope, with respect to the first team I don't know of any other manager who could of got us so quickly out of the defecit we started with, with the resources he has had and earned so much respect from his peers and the public for the style of Football we play.

Steven Pressley is a credit to this Football Club.

totally agree robbo shame the owners do everything it seems possible to discredit the football club, it's history and it's supporters.

I echo all what you say on Pressley he has done a great job and given time and dare I say money,he will get us up and moving.I asked is he showing pressure or passion ? As most have written it's mainly passion !
