Attempt missed. Leon Clarke (Wolverhampton Wanderers) left footed shot from the left side of the six yard box is close, but misses to the right.

According to the Wolves fans, he's playing really well.

They didn't want him back, in fact I go so far as to say some hate him. But once he gets a few goals under his belt, he'll be their hero.

Football fans are fickle.

Wolves however will require a clinical finisher, Clarke is not that, we created many chances and that had its part in his scoring tally, another feature of our play was the high press, he got a couple or 3 goals due to dodgy back passes or keepers clearing it straight to him, not sure Wolves will set up like that.

On another note Kevin Phillps, 2 sub appearance, one assist to set Nugent up and they win by the goal, today scored to put them one up, cant really fault the bloke.

Leon Clarke, given his first Wolves start after joining from Coventry for a reported fee of £750,000 in midweek, twice headed off target and also saw a chipped effort cleared off the line as he failed to add to his 18 goals so far this season.
