For a change.... (15 Viewers)

For a change I went to see Cheltenham today versus Northampton. (1-1). Never seen so much hoof ball in my life ! 5 balls went over the stands and out of the ground. Gary Deegan and Roy O'Donavon were subs for Northampton. Nice to mix with a large crowd than Sky Blues get at Shitfields. However, I did "Hospitality" - £42.50 included Car Park Pass, Seat in the Vice Presidents "Ruby Box" and a lovely meal... good value. The atmosphere was friendly and I was made to feel at home. Football was crap, but the experience was interesting. From where I live it's 24 miles to Cheltenham and 63 miles to Northampton. I may go to Cheltenham now and again, but will NEVER go to Northampton ! Had my football "fix" today, so I'm happy.

Unfortunately, I can only get a football fix from Coventry City.

About 200 Northampton supporters, gates are around 3,500 average. I nice tidy ground, under cover all four sides. Easy to get to as well.

Today's gate was 2,707 (there was a doubt if the game was "on" until this morning... however, the pitch looked in excellent condition.

I guess he's advocating we should do something else with our Saturday afternoons as we've been deprived the opportunity .

While he's so far away It's a tad difficult but like you and me There are other teams playing within our city worth a look .

It also helps negate the argument of damaging effects on the local economy while benefiting a local team .

£42.50?

You could have bought NTFC for that.

I boycotted SixFields and went to the NIB in Perth this weekend. One all draw. Had my way with a blonde hairdresser from Chelsea. Result!!

So someone with nothing to do with VOR calls someone a scab.......and I haven't heard of that happen for a long time.......means that he or anyone else shouldn't go and watch a game of their choice that isn't our club or any other club in Northampton?

So we are supposed to say to anyone that go to Northampton to watch our club but don't go to Cheltenham :D

I get the stance on not giving SISU money, not going to Northampton etc. But to give your money to another club who one day could be our rivals??

I'm not a scab. I'm scouting. Also fancy my chances at Aloisi signing my Cov shirt. Besides it was 25 degrees warmer than Cheltenham

Do you go to away games? If you do you ARE giving money to one of our rivals.......not just to who might become a rival in years to come.......when it would have been spent well before they are a rival. Next you will be asking for an away support ban as it helps our rivals :thinking about::D
