GK-Hart, Forster, Foster
RB-Walker, i was gonna say Johnson but like the thought someone mentioned about Clyne
LB- for me has to be one young, one more experienced so one of Baines or Cole and one of Gibbs or Shaw.
CB is so weak, Cahill jagielka jones and try to get (however much of a tw*t he is) Terry back or failing that Dawson.
CM-Gerrard wilshere Barkley ox carrick
Wide-Townsend Lallana Milner (utility player)
ST-Rooney Sturridge lambert Rodriguez

Starting XI
Hart
Walker Cahill Terry Baines/Cole
Wilshire Gerrard
Lallana rooney Ox
Sturridge

Top English Goal Scorers in PL

15 Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool)
10 Jay Rodriguez (Southampton)
9 Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)
8 Danny Welbeck (Manchester United)
Rickie Lambert (Southampton)
7 Adam Lallana (Southampton)
Adam Johnson (Sunderland)

Surely have to take top 3 scorers plus one of the two on 8 dependent on form over the remainder of the season. Johnson worth consideration too.

I can't see us getting very far so I would take as many of the younger players as I could that have had a good season. They would be better prepared for the next one we qualify for and start building for the future.

Agree, but needs to be a mix of youth and experience so that we don't just get slaughtered. Would stick with Cahill and Jagielka at the back as don't think anyone else is good enough.

Good arguments for all players named above, but the test for me is who's name would I put on the back of my shirt ... And honestly , none , as none are world class :(

I think its going to be a very painful world cup this year :(

A) He still won't be anywhere near the world cup squad, because he doesn't qualify for residency yet.

B) Do you believe everything you read in the mirror. If Kosovo gets FIFA recognition I think he''ll play for them.

A) True - just posted the link because people were taking the Micky out the lad who originally suggested him.

B) no, but I have also heard it discussed on 5Live and TalkSport. It's not probable but it's also not impossible that it would happen.

I agree it's not impossible. Other teams profit in this way. Some of the German team are Polish and I think Ozil is Turkish. (could be wrong though)
I don't know how I'd feel if he did play for England. I suppose if he's good enough he's English enough ;)

I'm sure I read somewhere that Wilfred zaha had not commited himself to England, he's played a friendly in Sweden but some rule states he can still choose Ivory Coast. Anyone know if that's true?
Not that he'd get in based on this season, His season has been the opposite to Sterling. Still a better player than Adam Johnson will ever be.

Yep that's true, has to be a competitive international I believe.
