Probably need to have bought a ST to be considered, as they are they gave them an easy ride when they met with SG

Don't think so, my mate's a non-attender. Weird that it's not been publicised though.

That's what people said when Fisher told us they'd move out of Coventry..
doesnt make the new stadium a reality though does it. Fisher also said he had moved on and had no interest in the Ricoh - is that true too? will name a site in 3 weeks - so long ago i cant remember when it was - is that true too? I could go on about things Fisher said which turn out not to be true.

Agreed, you can look at the statement in either manner, the reason for my post was simply to highlight that where we write things off with Sisu should we really do so based on there unpredictable dealings with the Club?

Can we take it this Is not another open meeting ,but the twelve desciples she talked of for the actual committee.

I personally would'nt engage in any of It as I would'nt want to give them any oxygen to engage.Whether they Intend to follow through or not I could'nt give a flying.

would be worth going for the laugh, plus they serve a mean pint of Stella Black there.

What Is this stella black you speak of tsb?

If it Is for Garlicks dozen ,I can't see the need for a large venue ,a bit like the End Product they're hoping to have influence on.

Fair enough. I thought you were using the example to demonstrate everything Tim says is true. I may have misunderstood. I wouldnt put much beyond sisu but the economic madness of building a new stadium is probably beyond even them.

Absolutely not. Tim Fisher has no concept of time, in his eyes 3 weeks is tripled..

No I highlighted it because they're unpredictable so discrediting anything at this moment would be unwise.

Don't you understand? By building a tinpot stadium in another town the club will suddenly be worth the cost of the project plus the current Sisu debt!

Must be true, I read it on GMK.

That would make absolutely no sense whatsoever, however purchasing the Ricoh on the other hand...

OK I come clean, it wasn't a mate, it was me. Just got back.

Interesting.

Down to 2 sites apparently. Plan is to press ahead with both in case one doesn't get planning permission.

Committee will be selected by the end of the week. First meeting next week, will need to move fast, as requests need to be in to the architect by end of March. There will be another open consultation meeting before then.

Still no info on: budget, location.

Capacity still 12.5k apparently, though several said this wasn't enough so Sandra says she'll take that back to the owners.

Lots of nice ideas floated, no point going through them as it was literally just what people would like to see. Consensus is that MK Dons/Emirates is a good starting point.

I'm building my imaginary friend a new home. There are 2 possible sites, Fantasyland and Dreamworld, I'm pressing ahead with both. I cant tell you how much it will cost or where it will be but I'm building it, honest. Would anyone like to come and talk about it?

Got to be honest, I'm more convinced now than at any point so far.

But it means nothing. no one in that room had any more idea than you or I.

If its outside Coventry 12.5k is more than enough.

Perhaps she should take that back to the owners?

I don't doubt their capacity to build a stadium, particularly a small stadium albeit not adequate enough, but I have a sneaky suspicion they will eventually find a compromise of sorts to buy the Ricoh. Just my thoughts.

She can take whatever she wants back to the owners. Unless it is in Coventry we will not support it!

A turd in a box? I'd support that.

Compromise? I think I'd fall short of calling it that to be honest Pax... feels more like demanding freehold with menaces to me?
