For those not listening on talksport called for every football fan to sign the petition. Durham and gough agreed it was his best idea and they were going to sign. For once. Respect to gw

It was a really good honest unbiased appeal. The importance of football to fans in a community. Saying other fans should not be complacent it could be their club next, it's important to support this enquiry.

Nobody should have their team taken out of their traditional area even on a temporary basis.

The politics of both sides was not debated, just they were in dispute.

Excellent from Westley, he could easily avoid getting involved, but he stressed how important this petition could be for all football fans.

not sure if they do listen again. Westley came on just after 6 and pete the cov fan around 10 to 7

Gough said that cov fans at MK was the most amazing away support he had ever seen . Urging everyone to sign the petition, Thought wed get to 100000 signatures

Gough mentioned how we only got around 2000 for our home games 35 miles away in Northampton yet filled the away end at every away game. (He's a MK Dons fan among others and was at MK away.)

Between the three of them they got over the importance of every football fan in the country signing the e petition to get it over the line, as our situation could happen to other clubs in the future.

Supports Barnsley but has a st at MK Dons. Dont understand that.

I can to a certain extent. I live away from Coventry and have on occasion been to watch local teams just to watch some football. If I had his money I would maybe have a season ticket to fill my Saturdays. Can't say they would be my first team, that is Coventry, but you do get carried along by it. When I lived in Coventry I went to watch Leamington semi-regularly. The first few times it was just a football match but after time I learnt the players/songs/etc and probably would call myself a Leamington supporter. I still follow them from up here. But Coventry will always be my team.

Fair enough. Football is Coventry or nothing for me. It wouldnt feel right having a ST at another league club.

Pretty certain Hitler is dead, Brian.

Unless he is of course still hiding in that bunker somewhere. If so, he would now be 115 and would probably forget what he was voting for.

I'm just a football addict to be honest. My wife gets pissed off with me watching it on TV at home so have to go out!

I've thought about going to watch Havant and Waterlooville the odd time. Never been though.

Still, always thought Westley was a plank (probably still is) but credit where credits due...nice of a manager of another league club to be plugging this, on a national radio show. Not bad for a campaign with little/no funding, eh sbvet?! ;)

Somehting on 5 live this morning in regard to fans being given more of a voice in thier respective clubs. The FL and FA are to meet to discuss how to urge owners to allow this in th future. Not entriely unconnected with th governance in the game.
