Wow, the FA and the FL are going to meet. I wonder if we'll get anything like William Hague's soundbites after the meeting: "The Government are blimmin' cross with Assad and the Syria. I can tell you the Prime Minister is blinkin' livid."

The Football League is a toothless tiger more interested in image than substance.

You are dead right Torch. Owners of clubs (and I'm not just referring to ours) can pretty much do as they please with their "asset", and dictate to the authorities as they please. It will demostrate to all how toothless and amateurish the FL/FA really are. Money is killing the game, and it has spun out of control, so there is nothing they can do to restore any kind of order - and as long as they earn a few quid, then why should they really care.

Somehting on 5 live this morning in regard to fans being given more of a voice in thier respective clubs. The FL and FA are to meet to discuss how to urge owners to allow this in th future. Not entriely unconnected with th governance in the game.

I think they were advertising a discussion about the one sided relationship between owners & fans to be broadcast on 11am Sunday. I shall listen to that as it is pretty relevant to our situation and I'd like to find out what moves are afoot. Hopefully we & the petition get a mention.

My thoughts entirely, Torch. The FL is spineless, toothless and in general bloody useless. The same goes for the FA who are only interested in internationals and the Premier League. Both have 'done a Pontius Pilate' and happily washed their hands of the whole affair.
