Its quite a nice little ground these days.....we only took about 700 last season.

Was it Dickie shaws first game as caretaker after Thorn got the boot?? Can't quite remember. I do remember Hussey getting dogs abuse for no real reason from a couple of gobshites in front of me......not helpful.

Funnily enough, the only bright spot from last seasons performance was young Barton who showed glimpses of the player he could/should be.

The local boozers are not up to much....but you have got possibly the finest drinking city in the UK just over the river so I suggest enjoying your day & evening in Liverpool & just visit Birkenhead for the footy. :D

Shaw was definitely in charge, his first game was the cup win vs Birmingham but it could have been his first league match as caretaker. Lost 2-0 there last season.

I would like to go but I have to admit a lot depends on the result against Carlisle. I know its bad but at least I admit it. I need something to get excited about and a victory would do this.

This will be my first visit to Prenton Park and was wondering where people usually park? Don't really want to park at the ground because of problems (I presume) in getting out at the end and there doesn't appear to be any car parks near by. Apparently they run a strict residents only scheme in the streets round the ground as well.

I've been once, the 5-1 League Cup defeat. Suffered constant abuse from gobby scouse teenagers. The more I responded to it, the more stick I got. Will be there Saturday seeking revenge!

Was there on a very cold evening in February 1968 for our FA Cup replay. Treated myself to a seat in their main stand. It was a bloody wooden bench! They won 2-0 with a certain George Hudson firing a long range shot just under the bar. He was a little 'portly' by then, but still hit the ball harder than most............

I was at the 5:1 defeat in the League Cup.
I too took abuse from scouse teenagers.
