I have a feeling this will our lowest gate in history. Heavy rain expected and I don't think Carlisle will bring any more than 100. Also Man City vs Barcelona is on the box.

Hopefully game off to pile up the fixture list, failing that just over 1k. It would be bad enough if this fixture was at the Ricoh but at Northampton:eek:

Yes, that seems to be the attitude of the Club too. They only want supporters who accept the rubbish customer service they are given, without complaint. What other business would deliberately move itself 35 miles from its customers and expect them to trot along happily? In any well-run customer service organisation, managers who did that would soon be sacked and replaced with others who really welcome customers and take the business as close to them as is possible. Well-run businesses would own-up to their failings rather than blaming everyone else, including the customers, for a dramatic loss of custom. For CCFC, the customer is always wrong.

No one from Coventry goes though Wingy, so they'll all be in Cov supporting their local commuinity assets like the Ricoh. What are they doing for half term?

35 Scouts,,might be a few extra kids there ,Half term ,well at least In Coventry.

Interesting how it is about the attendance and not the score and also how Man City are on the TV.

When do they usually say if it will be on or not? I guess the weather will heavily affect Carlisle fans on a week night.

I could see it being around 1,000 maybe less if it is still on.

That's all it's about now, Nick. Mutual masturbation over low crowds and match postponements.

In light of the post above, this may be slightly risky; but here goes: The local forecast is for light rain this evening and tomorrow afternoon, so it could be nip and tuck for the game. As for the attendance - not too fussed really. As for the score, I hope we win.

Funny how your dreary and mind numbing comments are in the minority though?

Just for you and Nick, I really hope its the lowest crowd of the season or better than that, the match is postponed, as for me its Man City v Barcelona all the way.

Why just for me? Maybe you should be posting on a Man City forum then?

Why Nick? He doesn't go. As for the rest of your post, I'll treat it with the contempt it deserves.

Didn't realise we were playing, that's how this debacle has got me now, don't think the gate will be a lot higher than the season ticket holders we have, how many of those are there ?

Some might say the disinterest from many Cov fans might be in large part the responsibility of the business owners, who's job it is to build interest, promote and build the club.
Obviously you wouldnt say that, or the Superfan who would never set foot in Sixfields, but a lot might.

Genuine question - why would you want a fixture pile up? Bound to affect player performance, kill any slim chance of playoffs. If it causes a really bad run of form we are only 9 points above relegation, and worse - could cause our most promising manager in many years to be sacked.

I won't go to games at Sixfields but I don't get your thought process there.

The community asset that you get so worked up about is absolutely nothing to do with you. You don't live here, you never contributed to its build so live with it.

Your team plays in Northampton, you know that little ground where you followed the worst owners in our history to.

That's a stance that also says you buy into all the council and ACL tell you or want you to believe? yes SISU have done us wrong but we are still alive if only just and a way forward can only be found when ALL sides can agree something.

Of course the club should be marketing and doing PR and I have said many times that their PR is shocking.

What does it matter where he lives? I know people in Coventry who go to Sixfields. I live outside Coventry and won't go.

He's absolutely obsessed with the Ricoh.

Why's he so obsessed with the place?

Im right in saying that its nothing to do with him. His team plays in Northampton.

The Ricoh now has as much to do with him as Warwick Castle has to do with me.

It's not an asset at all with no club there. It's just another building that no one really gives a shit about, apart from the few acl spin doctors on here.

But it's not just a football stadium is it.

If its just another building why does torchy keep jacking off about it?

I have lived in Coventry (born there), Dublin, Johannesburg, Kettering and Northampton. My parents are Irish. The old man supported Cov, as do the rest of the clan, and my kids (Northampton born) . Find all of this bickering a bit confusing to be honest. I have often questioned myself as to why I support Cov - stuck with it I suppose

Maybe folk are upset as Tim Fisher - our 'CEO' made an estimation that our gates could be as high at 7K, but could be as devastatingly low as 3K; and that he's 100% out on his estimation of even the most lowly of estimation?!?

How happy are you with a CEO who's 100% wrong on even their most pessimistic of projections?

Maybe people have got due cause to complain, when someone gets key projections so badly wrong, yet remains in post to make more critical decisions pertaining to their club?

The same way you jack off about Sixfields. Do you pay council tax to Northampton Council?

And without CCFC the Ricoh is just another building.

But it's not just a football stadium is it.

If its just another building why does torchy keep jacking off about it?
