I just think there's a danger, you do the same again, it's not a news story.
It just becomes that thing we do... a bit like not turning up to games, or standing on the hill.
Something different becomes news, whatever it is, as long as it has a certain imagination.
Yeah, there is the danger that the last game sees us needing points too, I suppose, so any protest idea gets lost in a natural desire to will the team on... but frankly you can over-think that. The players have coped with going to a different town, they've coped with no bugger watching... so they can cope with every bugger sodding off or holding up a sheet, too!

nothing at all, just think if Michael arranged a sixfeilds protest, he would get a lot of support after the Arsenal show !. Everything else tends to people a handful of people as we simply cant agree what to do

Those "ideas" were just that and never really had any backing from someone (Michael) who has put the effort in and has a following.
And your last point - Michael's ideas have never included those who have chosen to go to Sixfields once, twice or every game (apologes, if that incorrect), so maybe it's time they were included?

Wasn't keen when first suggested Mark (don't think I berated), but starting to come round to the idea. I would think Wolves fans are already looking at tickets for this. Could be quite chaotic if organised properly (bit of an oxymoron there, but you know what I mean)

A team must have 7 players or the game will be abandoned. FL would then decide the outcome.

Agree with Northern Wisdom though. Need to do something different. A peaceful sit down protest on the pitch or something else that could delay kick off would be good. Obviously no-one wants a banning order though. If we can come up with a way to delay kick off in what could be a key game then it would make news.

If one thousand people did it no-one would get a banning order. As I have said before, hundreds of Preston fans invade the pitch in a local derby and didn't get any. Think it would only get a positive reaction.

If those going to Sixfields want to protest by going on the pitch--great- let's see it--so far we've had 3 people holding up a poster.
The rest of us arent ever going in to Sixfields.
The only thing that might work is a demo at the Football League- which has been suggested before-- maybe including other fans groups, even journos. That's hard and difficult especially on a weekday, but maybe an opportunity will arise...

With theclub having to play on Sundays as often or no, there's plenty of Saturdays free that people would have been expecting to use to go to a game....
Oh while we're bandying ideas about, May 16th surely, *surely* needs marking this year? In an ideal world, there'd be an open topped bus tour for the winners I suppose... although could look bad if only a man and his dog are there to watch it!

We get that a lot on here, don't we. Lots of people telling others what they've got to do, then can't do anything themselves as "I don't go to Sixfields". You don't have to. Rather than 12 on a hill have 1200 or 2000 or 4000....what's stopping you? You're not going into Sixfields, are you?
Likewise what's to stop you lot from organising a complete one game boycott?

Its a fair point. Nothing to stop a significant number turning up for the last game. It would probably cause more crowd management issues than if most went in ot the ground. Those who can't face going in don't have to. Those who may be able to as a one off for an organised event can, and join fans who aleady attend on a well pitched protest. Its all about the numbers willing to turn up. We manageed it for Arsenal and Notts County (and a larger attendance at MK) afterall

tbf that was tried for Sheff Utd and... didn't really work.
So as it didn't work, bit of flexibility, compromise needed.

With the caveat that if it ended up not many outside, and not many inside with numbers split, it fizzles out into nothing.
Personally I'd be looking to fill the ground first, then deadling with overspill outside. One game, that's all, and one game to draw attention to the plight. A bit of compromise, the same as there should have been more compromise for Sheff Utd and running with whatever's decided, rather than staying away in a principled way and ending up with nothing much happening.

Last two home games of the season, one all in and one all out. The Why/When protest seemed to get good coverage and most knew about it or through a 3rd party, how hard would it be to organise something like this. The other thing this would do is put pressure on Northampton as a town because thousands of people milling about would be a struggle to cope with. As a rule I have said I would never go into Sixfields out of principle but if it was for a concerted protest which was backed up the following game by no-one going in then I would do it. I know we only have a handful on this forum who go into Sixfields but do the ones that go think others in the ground would be receptive to this?

Reasonable compromise, I'd be up for that... although again the worry is, can you get enough people two in a row?
Would be a pretty hard sell for one as it is.

I'd be up for a one off protest in or out the ground. Wolves is the last chance to influence anyone really before the ground is decided fr next season.
Get a few coaches laid on by various fans groups, taking people whether they're going in or not. A show of SBA unity. Get banners and flags and bands on the hill, the works. Why not?
