There are fans who are saying today was not as bad as i thought, well how bad did you think it would be ? This is the sign of things to come. SISU will not put any money into the team, infact they will take money out, Jutkeiwicz, Clingan, a fit Ben Turner and some of these young hopefuls out of the academy will be moved on as soon as any decent bid comes in and make no mistake about it.

Getting SISU out has now got to become the fans priority, the very existence of our proud club is at stake, lose our championship spot and we lose £3million+ a year from Sky, tell me how a business losing £500k a month can stay in business if they lose another 3 million. The time to act is now at the beginning of the season not the autumn and certainly not the winter. SISU have planted their men on the board to oversee the running of the club and how to get their money back, nothing more, Looks like Brody has served his purporse and has now been sidelined and 2 others brought in. We have to get behind the Hoffman bid, there are no others despite the smoke and mirrors coming out of the club through it's SISU informants. And another thing, why should SISU be interested in us anymore, they have their fingers in Malmo, who are in the Champions league, where big money can be made.

It will be upto us to get them out and we can you know, fans can remove anyone, seen it loads of times and those poo-pooing the Hoffman bid and I include the likes of Eakin and Linnell in that come up with alternatives, there are none, we are fortunate to have a high flying financial wizz-kid as a die-hard fan, who i have absolute confidence will not tolerate any fly by night merchants at HIS club. Which is why he is breaking his neck to get SISU out. Division 2 beckons loudly.

I remember when the Glazers were kicked out of Man Utd after running in terror from all those green and gold scarves. Boy, what an uprising. People power!

You should resubmit your post on official letter-headed paper, Gaz.

Believe me the Glazer issues is far from over but winning trophies does help pacify supporters and Sir Alex has been allowed to splash plenty of money about recently probably as a results of the yellow and green demos. Lets see what happens once Manchester City start scooping up all the trophies.

absoloutely spot on mate!! im up for a protest biggo.

we need to gather atfer the watford game round by the main entrance and start protesting and going ape shit, they will have to walk past us on their way out................and if they dont we can always force our way in to the telent suite to have a word :).

something needs to be done, watford game would be good as 4 days after that the hoff is meeting sisu so would be a good time as it would still be fresh in their minds when it comes to the meeting.

Only problem with any protest is will our board actually be there - were any of them at todays game? Do any of them know where Coventry is let alone the Ricoh? I agree that they have to go because quite frankly today is going to be the pinnacle of the season as its only going to get worse as players are sold, are injured and we are having to play kids and carthorses. As I said before - a protest against the board wont bother SISU, as the job of the board is to shield SISU - the only protest that might have an effect is at SISU's offices in London where the southern biased press might pick up on it - any protest in Cov wouldnt even get on Central news let alone be noticed by SISU's investors.

If you wanted a protest I think the best way would be to make flyers that people can download and print off! Get vendors to hand them out at games as well! And if hundreds are left littered all around the stadium the message would get through. Make a big flag to take it to home and away games! Chant anti SISU. To be fair though violence is the only way press coverage would take interest and that is not good for anybody.
Personally I think it would be a bit pointless considering... What would we do without them for the time being? Everyone at the club is aware of the problems I doubt they need the stress of more negativity. Lets just try and stay up yeah? Its just the first game.

I honestly think that the City fans are so disheartened and ground down by decades of being robbed, lied to, abused and treated like scum by the likes of Robinson, Richardson, McGinnity and now SISU that the spirit of rebellion has just been crushed - the overwhelming sense I got from today's game was "Oh well could have been worse" - no real anger or venom just a sad acceptance that we will probably be relegated and there is sod all we can or will do about it.

Absolutely pointless. SISU remain the only thing keeping this club alive. The problem will always be that fans want owners who will throw large amounts of money in the transfer market.

In so many ways, SISU have done very little wrong but they will always be condemned because they won't sanction an epic spending spree to appease fans brought up on endless computer football management games.

For any true Coventry fan, it is time to mobilise and start turning up to help fund the club, until such time another investor can be found.

We all hope Hoffman and his bid can bring stability and prosperity but in the meantime, "stay away" fans will continue to justify cost-cutting at CCFC.

No one is expecting loads a money investment and for you to say shitsu have done very little wrong, you are deluded, and no I don't play those games.
I would love all city fans to stay away for a least 1 game as a protest but that won't happen because we are all fans who would find it almost impossible to stay away and want to support the team not the crippled vultures who have caught a cold.

"shitsu have done very little wrong, you are deluded"

That is correct: they have done very little wrong at all. They have told some stupid porkie pies at times but other than that, most fans have a hysterical hatred of SISU because SISU won't waste millions in the transfer market.

If you want to protest, the coming fans forum might be the place to start. Going to be at least one of the many board members there, although, as somebody has mentioned, it's not going to bother SISU to much either way.

Sadly for you, I have been warning about SISU ever since the takeover. When most Cov fans were busy spending imaginery money on players following the takeover and taunting Southampton for not accepting SISU's bid, I and a few others were warning fans not to trust SISU.

As ever, with most Coventry City things, I have been proven right again. ;)

Of course, if you take things out of context, then you will be as wrong as often as I am right. ;)

You need to go back and read things carefully.

You will also note that nowhere do I take any pleasure. I am merely stating a fact.

I guess when you have a fan base of 10s of thousands there will always be a few people who think they are better than others.

Why would you tell us all you predicted this then? Because you want everyone to acknowledge your superiority and you want everyone to say "you were right, should have listened to you."

Evidently you take great satisfaction about being right.

We don't need people saying in our ears told you so which to me is what you meant with this

Again, by taking things out of context, you are missing the point.
Until you understand the full discussions that took place earlier in the thread, you are missing the point.
You are also reading emotions that aren't there.
Go back and read again. When you are ready, we can discuss further. ;)

I don't care what happened earlier in the thread I have a problem with this post

This seems to me you are gloating about being right about SISU and I don't like this. Why would you gloat about being right about this?

Anyway it is obvious you an arrogant person and if this gloating boosts your ego then good for you.
