letter in the telegraph (4 Viewers)

What's worse, the fact that we do seem to keep getting similar stories popping up or the very same lame responses from 'certain posters' that we get when they do? If the story/letter is in the paper then at least it is keeping it on peoples minds and continues to be a small thorn in Sisu's side (before the responses start, how does anyone from Sisu view these letters/reports etc, i don't know but at least it is a nagging thing that won't go away). As I've said before on other threads, if you don't like it or are bored of it, don't read it. How hard can that be?

Not going to change anybodys mind or give anybody any new information unless they've got the memory of a goldfish.(Which to be fair, does seem to be the case with quite a few on here).

Who goes just out of loyalty to SISU and nothing to do with the football?

It doesn't say just out of loyalty to SISU and nothing to do with football, Nick. It states some go only to support the team and suggests there are some fans who attend still have faith and loyalty to the owners SISU as well as the team.
It doesn't say that at all.

It says this:

A very small number go to Northampton, some in loyalty to the team but some misled people in loyalty to a discredited hedge fund.

That means SOME go because of the team and SOME out of loyalty to SISU.

Again, who goes to Sixfields out of loyalty apart from employees?

But the letter was sent to CET and to be honest there is nothing wrong with that considering some of the letters that get printed in it. Anything that gets Coventry City a mention finds its way onto here and then we get endless threads about them from Anne Lucas having a fag outside the Council House to photos of Fisher coming out of the bog after a piss. But we as individuals have the choice to either look and read or don't. The fact that we get the responses to these stories that we do is sometimes as bad if not worse than the story itself.

I still think he is trying to say some attend to support the team and not SISU, while some attend that support both.

However, if you read it differently so be it. Its a letter in the press stating one persons viewpoint, at least he has been bothered enough to write one.

It's amazing how we get so many posts about wanting the truth to come out. Yet so many on here try and belittle a short letter (possibly edited) in the local newspaper, because they apparently know more or at least as much as the author.

So who attends to support SISU?

I am not belittling anything, it is just all you hear is conspiracies and things like people are going to support SISU and bollocks like that. I very much doubt anybody thinks "I am going to go and show SISU my appreciation today".

It is not knowing more than the author is it? He may be a very intelligent man with 10 degrees in business, he has just written a silly statement in his letter.

I suppose at least it's not somebody complaining about the Number 72 bus not stopping for them one morning, which is the usual standard of letter in there.

So who attends to support SISU?

RFC?

Are there any more Grendulls out there that detest CCC so much that they would support anything against them?

Or shall we try the real meaning of support? give assistance to, especially financially :slap:

Yawn..

Has anybody gone to a city game just to spite CCC?

Yep, those bastards at Arsenal all protesting are SISU supporters.

It's in the Telegraph. It has a hell of a lot more readers than this forum. It points out the bleeding obvious and good on him for taking the time to do it.
What he said needs repeating in as many places as possible.

So as king of repetition then why not crack on?

I think most people don't need the obvious pointing out to them, maybe the first 5 times to confirm, but then over and over again it just gets repetitive.

I was fooled ,I believe they, as in sisu ,thought that they were showing some sort of loyalty to those of us who never relly got over leaving HR,.yes the ricoh I hate but to do wat they hav done is awfull ,criminal.i was vey mixed up in the emotions of whats gone on and did attend the first games at sixfields but soon realised the hidden agendas.on the morning before our 5.1 win at the ricoh over Walsall,i was delivering to the banks stadium restaurant as their team came out and got on the coach ,I then mucking about got into a convo with one of their trainers ,physios ,who was adamant ther was a council clause stating whatever happens ccfc would never be stopped from playing at the ricoh ,what evers happens with the owners ,the team would never be evicted from playing their games at the ricoh ,this being a gesture from the ccc to the fans and players of ccfc.looking back I can see this ,but if so why the hell did sisu walk away and do what they hav done ,only one answer ,and that is the start of this thread .the ricoh should never be sold for anything less than its value ,not to anyone, the people of Coventry are more important than ccfc, sisu otium the ccc,acl the higgs trust, and yes sport is a cummunity event ,hedge funds should never be allowed to own ,run ,or clean the toilets of sporting teams .

So you're suggesting we don't keep it in the public eye?

Would you buy a paper if it is the same thing everyday? Of course keep it in the public eye when new facts come to light or things change / happen but don't you think the same thing day in day out can be tiresome?

Isn't this forum based entirely on that?

There are no Coventry fans who are Sisu supporters.
There are Coventry fans who do not attend sixfields in protest to what Sisu have done to our club. These fans are looking to the future ccfc. Many still get their football fix travelling to away matches.
There are Coventry fans who attend sixfields to support the team now. These are the coventry fans that i hope will realize that the ccfc now has no future until Sisu are gone.
We will all stand together again when Sisu have gone and im prepared to starve them out however long it takes

I would say that a certain % of sun readers buy the paper purely to look at page 3 every single day! The telegraph has an obligation to print the letters they receive from readers and that reader may never have said anything about the situation before or been a poster on this site, so therefore the paper has to print it, otherwise does it not become censorship?
