Do you think any of the Loanees will stay? (3 Viewers)

Alright guys.

Remember Pressley saying RE one or two of the loan signings that they were one for the future despite them being loans. Gave me the impression he might try and keep on to a couple of them.

Petrasso
McGeoch
Delfounso
Akpom
Marshall (not a loan but a short term deal...)

Sorry if im forgetting anyone im in a bit of a rush. Of the above I think that maybe McGeoch is the most likely to hang about, along with Marshall. Don't think Delfounso will stay, nor will Akpom obviously. Petrasso?

Right. Let's just pretend, for argument sake, that it will...

We will probably try to sign McGeouch I suspect. Petrasso looks a talented player. If QPR don't go back up at first time of asking, they will start losing some of their better players so they'll probably want to hold on to him for their next Championship campaign.

Delfonso will be available, so we may offer a contract. However I doubt he'll sign for us. Not sure why; just think he'd choose other clubs over us

Petrasso - No, way too good
McGeoch - Possibly
Delfounso - Doubtful (and not sure sure yet I'd want him)
Akpom - No, probably too good
Marshall - I hope so, looks promising

As a league one side and one that isn't very attractive at the moment the only way you get to keep players you loan or sign on short term deals is if they do ok ish, just enough for us to want to keep them, but not enough for their clubs to want them back or for them to be appealing to a championship side, if they do well then unfortunately it's very unlikely they would stay. Thats presumably why Presley doesn't want loans they have no long term benefit, the time and effort you put into molding and improving them gives no benefit, you don't get to sell them for profit, you don't get to keep them in the team the next season. So it's less attractive than improving your own young players.

They are usful when you are desperate though or can get one significantly more talented than whoever else you'd have played in that position.

We have a fighting chance of keeping those we can afford and that see us as an attractive proposition. This may limit the options a little.

sw88 - will delfounso definitely be available? I thought they rated him at Villa as one for the future? They did a year or two back anyway.

I don't think we have a chance of signing Akpom permanently...mate of of mine supports Arsenal and says he's shit hot and they want to hold on to him. Shame about Petrasso cause he looks really good.

What do you guys think of McGeoch so far? Feel like we haven't really seen that much of him?

Re: Delfouneso , his contract runs out in the summer, he's been out on loan for pretty much 2 years now so I imagine Villa will be letting him go.

the pitifull thing is that, imho,
under the current regime, i fear that we (CCFC), will not exist, in the near future,
this, imho, due to GREED, OBDURACY, MEGALOMANIA, & STUPIDITY,
blame who you like, but i know where my vote is

I'd like Petrasso, McGeouch and the Fonz but there is no guarantee it will happen.

Possible 4th Division next season. They would love it as we would walk that division...........

Well I reckon we can still get promoted to the Championship personally.

still a little bit "drunky", from last night mr Robbo ?, or still dreaming ?

Not in the slightest, but let's look at it we are currently 10 points off Swindon who are 7th and if we won all 3 of our games in hand we could be one point behind them and six behind Posh, baring in mind we have to play both again and baring in mind Posh are as consistent as inconsistency goes would you bet against them dropping points?

Okay it would take us going on a massive run and would need some huge luck, but why can't it happen to us?

what I think ,hope and we wil get are three different things ,and nothing will happen for the good of the club let alone the fans ,saying that I think marshal is potencially a great signing ,plus the celtic and the Q,P,R lad ,, the delph and the other lad will attract attention from far better placed teams than us .we do need to get the moose on a long contract ,firstly to stay or if he goes we can hopefully use money to fund the above.

I have done an analysis based on the games since Xmas.
Using the Italiahorse statistical algorithm based on 36 years of modelling all four divisions, it has just come back with the following conclusion. "CCFC are playing CRAP"

Feeding this into my self designed computer model this means we are more likely to be relegated than promoted.

In other words IMHO not a chance.

If we get relegated i will shave my head bold.
