Comebacks (2 Viewers)

Hey guys! Its that time of week again. This week for Cook's Question, after Manchester City coming from behind to win the Capital One Cup, we want to know 'What is the best Sporting comeback you've seen?'. This could be from any team in any sport. Remember, all entries need to be in by 10.45AM Thursday morning to be on the show. You can get in touch with Sports Lounge via Twitter (@Hillz_SL) and give an opinion on any topic brought up the show. This week's main topic will be the English teams' chances of progressing to the Quarter Finals of the Champions League. Tune into Hillz FM (98.6FM) 10AM Thursday for all the action. Thanks again for your amazing contribution

You know what's really sad? I can't remember a single good comeback involving City? I have a vague memory of a game against Spurs in the cup at HR that we were 2-0 down at half time. Anyone got any ideas what game that was? Think we won 3-2.

Maybe we did lose. I have a vague memory of being in the Family stand at HT and losing, but after that, nothing.

Man Utd has just popped into my head though, how can I forget this beauty:

Yeah, I miss the Prem too. It's not so bad being shit when everyone is amazing.

The best I can (almost) remember was against us - someone please correct me if I've got the details wrong. 3-0 up at Highfield Road, half way though 2nd half against Brighton (1981 ish?). Michael Robinson with a hat-trick in about 20 minutes for a 3-3 draw. Sickening.

as much as it pains me to say, Man Utd 2 last minute goals in the champions league final against Bayern. Truly couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I miss HR but I dont particularly miss the premiership in the 90s as that was when the fun started disappearing. Top flight in the 80s was great for me.

You're right.

I'm pretty sure that it was a League Cup match.

We were 2-0 down at half time and not playing well.

Now if I remember correctly, Dion had been out injured for a few games and hadn't been expected to be fit in time for the game, but was on the bench.

He came on at half time which really lifted the crowd. We got a goal and from then on it was all us. Not sure about the scorers but I think that Dion got one and John Salako. Nuddy for the other?

On the way home I was flashed by a speed camera, but didn't get a letter:) - perfect evening!

I'm not to sure whether I should own up to this or not...but here goes. My mother came from Wolverhampton, moving to Coventry just after the War. We used to go back and forth regularly and my Uncle, a Wolves fan decided that I should become one too, so one evening in December 1954 having just turned 7 I was whisked off to watch Wolves play the mighty Hungarian team Honved. I can vaguely remember the noise and the floodlights but very little about the match apart from the fact that Wolves won after being 2-nil down at half-time being lauded at the time as the greatest team in the world! My uncle still has his programme and often brings it out when I'm there and still can't work out how I escaped his clutches and became a City fan.

Wasn't there a game at the Ricoh when Adams made 3 subs together - everyone thought he'd lost the plot and we ended up am winning?

Yes and don Hutchinson was another of the subs and we ended up winning - cant think who it was against. I'm sure all the subs were in the first half?

It has to be Liverpool Champions league from a football perspective but has to be the 2012 Ryder cup for me, never been so nervous watching golf in my life!!

was plymouth at home won 3-1. I asked him about it, and he claimed they were all due to injury. Barnsley was the julian gray sub
