Why would there be a link between liking AT and hating SISU

I have never seen AT in the I hate SISU camp.
No more than Boothroyd and Coleman. It's a strange one to try and link the two.

As I say the debate is over.

Because on here (which is a small % of city fans) some of the most vocal sisu haters, also backed AT (some still do).

Two still do.

But why would there be a link.

There would need to be a reason surely?

Or are. Just saying it is pure coincidence?

I haven't said there is a link, maybe they hate sisu that much they saw thorn as a victim of sisu or honestly think Thorn is a good manager but SISU ruined any chance he had. I don't know why they would think Thorn was a good manager.

You can't answer fair enough, debate over

I would suggest you look at some if thorns interviews. He very quickly jumped on a bandwagon of not getting support from his employees (without even acknowledging they'd be the only employee that would give him a job) and many supporters applauded him for it. They saw him battling against adversity.

Oddly the Kidderminster fans viewed his bleating far more cynically than the likes of you. He had the absolute affrontary to imply the outgoing chairman had dictated he needed to play defensive football (a big criticism by the fans on their forum). Given that this poor bloke had pumped loads of money into the club and was ultimately forced out by a hate campaign purely as he employed thorn that was shameful even by thorns standards.

The debate is over because thorn is not fit for purpose. A chancer and charlatan who must now carry a government health warning for anyone stupid enough to ever consider him for any job in the future.

Grendo you crack me up sometimes, that last sentence was pure gold. On a serious note, he was the worst manager in the club's history, and more than mere statistics show for it.

Defending Andy Thorn as a football manager in spite of all the overwhelming evidence is Johnny Cochrane territory. If a bloody tracksuit shows up, hold on to your hats.

All the "Hate Sisu, Love Thorn" stuff that was prevalent.

I just saw the appointment, and continued appointment as yet another reason to see Sisu as clueless owners.

Many others though, whilst abrogating Sisu as clueless owners(though generally the previously most pro-sisu previously of the lot), saw Thorn as a managerial genius merely struggling under Sisu.

Many people are fucking idiots.

I feel sorry for anyone that can find joy in someone else's misery. Grendel, your life must be very hollow to even care about Andy Thorn anymore. Move on chap.

Why would Thorn be in misery? If I was getting paid loads(twice!) for a job I was ill qualified to perform i'd be quite happy to take it, but would expect a tap on the shoulder at any time once it had been twigged.

I wouldn't mention it all if that was the case.

So it's just cryptic "i know more than you" bollocks after all then.

If it's so abhorrent to revel in Andy Thorn being fired (not that anyone really is) I assume nobody would take any delight in Tim Fisher's exit.

It was often stated - especially by those football "experts" MMM, dongle and the dearly departed NLHWC - that managers make little difference and resources are the key factor.

It is then of interest i see that Kidderminster are now 3 points off the play-offs having lost 1 in the 11 games since the messiah departed from his role.

Not only that, but since he left the FTSE 100 is up 1.5%, the average temperature in the Kidderminster area has risen by more than 8 degrees fahrenheit, and they've narrowed down the search area for that missing Malaysian plane. What a bastard.

I think he is also responsible for the steep decline of Man Utd's performances this season. Only Fergie knew how to successfully adapt Thorn's style for Premier League football, and Moyes has fallen well short of achieving this.
