Mine was ok but my brother's wasn't.
I have another ticket problem to sort out tomorrow. I wanted to buy brum away tickets for saturday on the net but they don't have a student option on the site. So i phoned up and said i have to talk to the office at the ricoh when its open. I dont really want to buy from the ticket office directly because ill probably get given a ticket near the front :-(. They have every other option apart from student and i apprently can't buy my ticket as a oap, even though its the same price, because ill be refused entry.
They used to but they changed it as people could buy student tickets for away games who weren't actually students.
So basically it's now a requirement that student ID is shown at the time of buying a ticket.
It is because you need proof if you want to buy a student ticket says it on the city websiteMine was ok but my brother's wasn't.

Ye i see the reason and it is valid but if the stewards or turnstile operators checked (like the do at brum and leeds) then there wouldn't be a problem with them losing out, because cov don't gain anything from the away ticket sales.
I know, I'm as disappointed as you as I saved a few pennies at away games last season posing as a student
Maybe i should blame you then for the extra effort i have to put in to get the tickets then lol
you grow your hair, wear weird clothes and don't shower on the day of a game and wallah a student!
