To be honest, I was a bit gutted I couldn't get Proper Dim out of it (close, but no cigar), just to have a pop at you know who....if only I were a tad more dyslexic I might have got there ;)

Perhaps Tim has taken the 'P' again? :thinking about:

I would assume the Club is bringing in local companies for a reason, mainly because it shows that they're trying to keep a connection with local businesses and therefore people in the City.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha, yup that's Sisu they are all about the people you can tell that by the way the consistently engage with their core customer base.

They lost all the local sponsors they had in previous seasons, importantly the Coventry Building Society, this deal is with some tiny company.

If they want a connection with Coventry they should be playing in Coventry.

I don't disagree with that Jack, however as they're not it's likely that the Club are continuing to keep a link with the City in other aspects, I.e sponsorship.

With the greatest of respect, their motivation isn't altruistic or derived from a sense of morality; its desperation. Like most fans, they're been ignored by corporate sponsorship candidates too; who don't want association with our distasteful situation

Moan moan, apparently we couldn't get a sponsor a few weeks ago, now look.

I'm sure if mr Coventry had been in charge in sure we would have had the likes of Virgin, B A and Unilever fighting to be our sponsor - well Elliot's Car Accesories at least.

Edited for you MMM.

Sometimes I wonder if you get the same forum as everyone else, with all these argument you're having with no-one on the other side.

I've merely pointed out the nonsense of the debate by illustrating 3 sponsors of similar size we had in the past - two of which were when we were in the top flight. Tallon pens are not a multi national conglomerate.
