Rallying call for what? I am just a normal fan, I just happen to run this site. I am in no way some sort of "leader". I am the same as any other fan.

Negativity? I am just being realistic.

Being realistic in your own way whilst being negative with most others thoughts.

I know its giving money to Sisu but for one game i'm prepared to. I haven't given Sisu a penny this season having bought all my away day tickets through the away teams website.
How many people saying they won't go to sixfields for a one off because nopm but gave them money going to Arsenal ?
An 87minute walk out is to late there would be no point of congregating on the hill for 3 minutes. It would need to be half time latest.
Also those that are not prepared to go into sixfields but want to participate could start on the hill.

The really is no form of protest will achieve anything other than self gratification for the protestor. This game will play out as long as sisu are prepared to play it regardless of any external influence.

Okay I was having a think on this last night, problem is most fans won't go into Sixfields based on their morale's and secondly most fans refuse to give the owners another penny while the Club is in Northampton (NOPM). However it sooned dawned on me the best thing to do would be to pack out the away end at a specific 'home' game, an example would be the MK Dons game.

For argument's sake MK Dons will bring 750 fans (quite local for them so they should bring a decent number), the Club will allocate 2,000 tickets to away Supporters, if fans of CCFC could take that number over 2,000 it would be epic, we could then quietly protest with a banner or something from inside and reveal CCFC Away shirts under Jacketrs, Coats, from Bags, etc.

I can see a problem with segregation of course, but if we are all nice and get along with MK Dons fans it shouldn't be an issue.

Robbo, it seems great minds think alive (see my earlier post). Either that or you've pinched my idea you git!! :claping hands:

The football league would be the target to influence. If they didn't except a fans invitation then we would use the media to convince them.

I think the fill ground and "walk out" at 35 minutes isn't a bad idea.

I was trying to provoke ideas that would be disruptuve without being against the law and get people in trouble so the above is a good start.

I see your point, hence why I said this isnt a "pat on the back" exercise. I also agree that 99% of things are water off a ducks back to these folk however we cant just give up fighting. As you said before this wouldnt be allowed to happen to other clubs, so what would they do that we are not doing??

No "message" protest like walkin out or non-attendance would work. They don't care about us.

The only thing I can see having any chance is a sit in at Sixfields/around the exits where we force Fisher to come talk to us and don't let him leave until he's made a promise to return us to Cov next season.

It can't be something he can ignore. It has to cause him actual, physical inconvenience.

Whether people think its a good idea or not. IMO it's the only one that might actually achieve something.

That's it, why didn't we think of this earlier. This will 100% work.

Edit: Just so people are aware, I'm being sarcastic. This is a fucking stupid idea.

You miss my point. I'm saying that anything short of actually physically bothering him will be ignored.

There's holes all over that argument. Can he actually make that promise? How could we hold him to it? Etc. Etc.

Must have gone straight over my head then.

I agree, although I doubt even anything physical will make any difference. Only to the person stupid enough to dish it out.

That's forcing someone against there own will, sort of like kidnapping. And he can promise all he likes, what promise has he kept?

Would we make him write it on a headed paper in blood?

whats the chance of using the, To follow is to love, thankyou from the Barclays prem advert ,re do it with the old boy turning up at the ricoh to a closed door .and state there are a lot like him in Coventry alone having their Saturday afternoons stolen of them ,could we get some mock up posters made up threw the trust and see if fans of other clubs will show them .imagine at spurs ,were I believe the old boy is shown as a fan, posters with him on but with a red cross straight threw the middle ,with the words ,Not at Coventry what ever league .?you could approach the uni or suchlike, to throw an advert together to post on youtube ,.the advert gets me ,its just how football should be home or away ,and to see the old boy turning up ,the staff using his firstname ,walking away at the end ,you know he cant wait till the next game ,and the glow in his eyes watching his beloved team ,.great advert ,great way to thank people ,great if we can use it in a good way to show what can happen

Not attending will make no difference as we only have about 1000 people there at present, it looks empty already. I still like the walk out idea, it would be excellent visually and vocally and will hit SISU from a PR perspective.

another thread on this :slap:

does anyone actually know exactly whats on the table from ACL / CCC regarding a short term deal to rent Ricoh while our stadium is being built ?

Without that, do we really know if its realistic that CCFC can return to the Ricoh easily ?

If its £250k a year rent, on a season by season basis, then we need to put pressure on SISU. If its a 10 year deal only, then we need to put pressue on CCC. Does anyone actually know ?

Protest all you want, but SISU aren't going to panic because no fans attend one game. Nothing happened after the March, nothing happened after Why/When, nothing happened after 7000 fans turned up to MK dons, nothing has happened as a result of 90% of fans no longer turning up. If you really want to have an affect on where the club plays and how the club is run, the Trust and fans should be trying to open dialog between themselves and the club and the owners of the Ricoh instead of calling each other names and chanting SISU out whenever something goes wrong.

I wouldn't expect all of the regulars to walk out on 35mins. It would be good to get at least 750 of them for this one off event.
It would be good if the wolves game was televised that would be perfect.

spot on, but how can the trust open dialogue if the club dont want dialogue with the trust ?

Rallying call for what? Nick, if you have to ask that question...........
You set the tone here Nick. It's passionless. Not asking you to be a leader just some positivity.
As it is you are so defeatist about everything. Master of the put down.
The site might be a place for ideas, inspiration, planning.
Instead the tone you set - you call it being realistic - I call it fatalistic - gets us nowhere.

And if they don't want dialogue ??????
Which is the point we are at now.

I don't set any tone... People are welcome to talk about what they want.

I have my own opinion, it is equal to everybody elses on here in my view.

People can plan what they want on here, it is a CCFC forum.

Defeatist could be seen as realistic.

What i dont believe we know is whats on the table. Maybe, just maybe, those 1500 that go to Sixfields may consider or wish to protest in Sixfields if they were fully aware of whats on the table from the council / ACL for a return to cov.

OR, maybe , just maybe, some stayaways may reconsider if they realised CCC/ACL were being unrealistic

Either way, surely we need to know ?
