Well done Pressley, tonight you are a good manager who makes good substitutions, but remember if we lose to a better team this view will reverse.

Any protests inside from the scabs tonight or do we need to rely on the likes of AFC Wimbledon to do it whilst the scabbers clap politely ...

Don't think Barton will ever make it here to be honest. Decent player but obviously Pressley doesn't fancy him.

Preston weren't bothered about losing him, Robins didn't fancy him, neither did carsley when be was caretaker, and now Pressley. He's got some technical ability but there obviously something lacking..

Coventry City are looking to sign another midfielder on loan before Thursday’s deadline – as Adam Barton looks set to make a temporary exit.
Manager Steven Pressley drafted in Huddersfield’s Anton Robinson on loan this week and the midfielder made an impressive debut, playing the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 win over Stevenage.

But John Fleck picked up a booking that will rule him out of City’s next two games and with the rarely used Adam Barton set to head out on loan, Pressley wants to bring in reinforcements.

“Anton turned in a wonderful performance – great legs, great energy, tough in the tackle and a very composed player,” Pressley said.
“I think he’s going to be a crucial player for the rest of the season particularly because John Fleck has gone over the threshold. Adam Barton is potentially going out on loan so that makes it even more important to bring in another player before 6pm.”

Sounded as scrappy a win as they come-but at this stage of the season, it doesn't matter. For the remaining games it's all about getting enough points on the board no matter how those points are earned or how desperate the performance is. For this team to keep a clean sheet shows that somebody besides Joe Murphy was switched on at the back which is saying a lot for this team.
