How many of our loanees have had a medium term impact, have any of them played more than 10 games, its just a revolving door utter nonsense. SP talks of building a squad promoting youth etc... whilst we are bringing in a different loan player every week or a short term contract comes for a few weeks plays a few games and then buggers off.

Someone from GMK reckons it's Karl Henry from QPR.

Coventry City have signed Sheffield Wednesday midfielder David Prutton on loan until the end of the 2013/14 season.

The 32-year-old, who has made ten appearances for the Owls this season, joins the Sky Blues in time for Saturday's away League One trip to Crewe Alexandra.

Prutton began his career at Nottingham Forest where he won 25 international caps for the England under-21’s before securing a Premier League move to Southampton in January 2003.

A loan return to Forest followed in 2007 along with spells at Leeds United, Colchester, Swindon, Scunthorpe and Wednesday.

Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley said: "With the loan departures of Adam Barton and Billy Daniels and John Fleck's two-game suspension it was vitally important that we brought in a player with established quality, leadership skills and experience and David certainly fits that mould.

"He has played at the highest domestic level but also has a detailed knowledge of this division and what it demands and we're delighted to have him on board to help us finish the season on a high note."

It appears his contract expires at the end of this season too. So Eccleston, Robinson and Prutton playing for contracts?

It is a good thing they are playing for contracts as they need to play well to get a job :)

He was on Soccer AM the other week I think!

He was. Very witty fella. Scored some cracking goals too from his highlight reel.

Sounds like he can play so hopefully will make a positive impact on the pitch.
