Okay, anything you want to confess about CCFC? Something you have done or not done over the years of supprting the club? Odd, strange or surprising?

1. I have never ever had a beer at any City game, before, during or after full time.

2. I missed my own brother's weddding to watch City play.

3. Between the ages of 6 and about 10 I used to cry every time City lost. (yeah, I know, what a miserable childhood)

I "forgot" my season ticket for the last game at HR so the ticket office sold me my seat again so my brother could come to the game with us.

Talking of shame, my dad should be ashamed. He was a lifelong City fan, all the way back to the 1940's. He then stopped attending in the 1970's but sort of followed them from his armchair, but when City played Spurs in the Cup Final he didn't even watch the game and went out and mowed the lawn instead. It was a deliberate ploy me thinks. To make a statement. He knew just how much that game meant to me and my brother too.

Will never ever forgive him for that.

Before a home game against Villa in the early 90's, I ran on the pitch with a bunch of roses for one of the dancers!

I have an excel workbook meticulously updated after each match with details of goalscorers, appearances, attendances etc going back to 1983. With 'fascinating' pivot tables summarising key achievements such as highest appearance makers.

And Otis - how are you able to watch City sober?!

When I was in my mid teens I was seeing two birds that both lived very close to HR. I used the game to have an excuse to get away from one so I could go and see the other one :p

In the final few seasons of City in the Premier League I had an Excel spreadsheet for projecting City's final position in the table by putting in forecast scores of outstanding City and competitors-for-relegation team's matches. I abandoned it in the relegation season when it became clear that even the most optimistic projections weren't going to save them.

And yet you ended up being fooked by Coventry City.

Had to get tickets in the home end at Wolves this year and jumped up and cheered when they scored and gave us abuse when City scored.
That South bank is not a nice place.

Man, that's deep. Or maybe the grass just really needed a trim?

I got thrown out of a City vs Sunderland Reserves game at Highfield Road for crowd trouble.

My brother fainted in the West Terrace during a WBA game and had to be carried out by stewards. But when Jonnie Jackson scored in the last minute i left him on his own with a steward to go and celebrate.

Also used the standard 'fake birth certificate' stunt to get a JSB season ticket every year up until i was about 18.

As some already know I have two Fester supporting brothers :jerkit:

We always go in the away end together when we play each other. Not had too many problems as we are all a fair size. I am just over 6' and nearly 17st and middle size out of the 3 of us. I sing my heart out whilst in with them lot but my brothers are not very vocal whilst in with us. Pair of mad heads though.

Walked down into Brighton town centre when we last played them and picked the pub next to the train station as it seemed innocuous. Go to the bar and ask for a drink, the barman sees my City shirt and says 'you do know where you are don't you?', I say 'Brighton?' and get the drink. Then some Brighton fans walk over and said 'you picked the most hardcore Brighton pub to wear that in-we think you're scum, but we respect you' and bought me a round.

I remember getting thrown out of the West End when we played Arsenal.

Wasn't my fault and I hadn't done anything wrong, but what happened was that a load of Arsenal fans had got into the West End and just a couple of minutes into the game the police did a sweep operation and forced them all out of the gates to take them round to the away fans area on the Kop. I got caught up in it all as I must have been right at the edge of where the City fans were and I got thrown out with them.

I couldn't go in the Kop with the away fans so I just went back home. We won 3-1. :(

Quite funny now, but it could have got nasty. As we got thrown out I recognised a local bobby and thought I could maybe avoid being thrown out if he spotted me, so unwisely I started waving at him and shouting 'Malc, Malc!' in my very obviosu Coventry accent. A number of Arsenal supporters turned round and looked at me, so I pretty much stopped instantly and walked off away from the crowd and back to the bus stop at Gosford Green.

Sounds like Jasper Carrott's sketch about watching Birmingham at Old Trafford. 'Well 'ow will they know I'm from Buuurmingum?'

Got similar when watching us away at Cardiff and in with their fans. Two of my cousins are STH's with Cardiff. They make me look small. The last time I was in with them we got a late goal. Got my beer bought me all night. And a lot of them hate the English. But I love to mingle with the opposite supporters. You always find the occasional idiot but that is the same for all clubs.
