OK spiderman -- when we were last plunging towards
administration as a mid table Championship Club in our gin palace we could not afford -- other than SISU who expressed interest?

You will be trying to tell us next that we were Sisu's first choice.

For interested buyers just like at the 4-5 non-SISU bidders at last administration. 2007 is gone, we live in the present.

The spiderman tag is apt though as my surname is Parker (first name not Peter though!)

Well there's a shock.

Laura Deeling has been asked by Mr Strange to provide a public apology for today's performance or she is off the SCG!

Harsh!

Yes we did - there was one other bidder.

It needs to go into administration like any sensible business should have allowed it to. Then you would would have seen a pleather of interested parties.

The very first mistake of 100's to follow by our owners ( well money managers of our owners)

Pre-administration, nobody. But if we'd have entered administration - like Southampton, Derby, OPR, Ipswich, Leicester, Palace - or a number of similarly sized clubs who have entered administration since 2000, who knows? We may - like they - have gone onto bigger and better things.

All this conjecture though. There is one central factual consideration. Compared to when SISU arrived. Are we better, or worse off?

SISU dived in before administration so we never found out

Indeed and the reason admin didn't happen then was because our Geoffrey wanted to salvage some money, in the event his 'deal' with SISU was worthless, shame! :D

I see that you are the sort of person who is reduced to name calling when you are called to answer your statement of "Way off the mark". My statement was "The Council never took any money out of ACL, all the profit was used to reduce the loan from Yorkshire Bank". As ACL had the loan from Yorkshire Bank it was them paying of the loan not the council. Where did you say they have taken nothing yet.

It isn't profit then!

Alki David?

That's the bloke - thanks! I remember he was in the Telegraph as having pulled out of the race (to buy us) and that he was a billionaire.

Really? Find me a quote of mine on this forum which suggests that I prefer getting one over on Sisu/ACL/CCC to CCFC. I may have said in the past that in all this mess I am becoming disheartened with it all. However, would I love getting one over on Sisu, Yes I fucking would because of what I see they have done to my football club. Yes others have played their part but nowhere near the amount that Sisu have hurt us and it is because of my love for my club that makes me think like that.

Simon Gilbert@TheSimonGilbert 2m Judge will retire for five or ten minutes to decide if he can make a judgement today. If he can't it'll be first thing tomorrow or written.

Based on Simons and Robs posts I can't see Higgs lose this one.
