thought they gave permission for that years ago? When we were in our last season at the Ricoh it looks like they were preparing to build it, as had lots of building materials stocked around the footway underpass

The council too busy relaying Earl street for the billionth time, while some of the oldest streets in the poorer parts of Cov continue rotting away!
Great use of our money!

So you can escape quicker?

Think you'll find it's a station where no train will ever stop. The announcer will just keep tellung people to step back from the platform as the train approaches.

I would 've been skint but for the solicitors finally getting my payment from a contract I worked on fully six months ago ,at a level of 75% the original ,Sharks, everywhere,or maybe Hyenas.

It's a jungle Out there !!!

I am sure you deserved the original 100 per cent of the fee, but well done for clawing back 75 per cent of it. Can't trust anyone these days for sure.

I thought the Ricoh Station was one part of improved rail, links to North Warwickshire rather than just a Ricoh project.

I think it's meant to link in with HS2

The bloke on CWR said that it doesn't matter there's no football there anyway. People will use it to go to the retail park which is true enough.

Planning permission was only granted on the basis that there would be a train station built. I believe there was funding for it but the SRA and DfT said no. Council could do nothing about this so we had no station built.

Probably wrong but, didn't john presscott push it through without public consultation because a station was part of the plans?

The station was actually meant to be one of the provisions when they built the ground in the first place. That was NINE years ago.
