I think you be horrified to know the mainstream views outside this little forum are more reflective of the standpoints taken by torch and others myself.

I have answered. The fall down point he misses is question 3. Clive eakin the last time I looked is not a director of sisu. So the answer to 3 is no as the club will never accept it. They will never pick up the phone and will never negotiate a rent agreement within a company that they no longer will work with on a daily basis.

So as a strategy this whole campaign is flawed. It assumes unless sisu make a move the other sides are not challenged and are not having action against them. Its not us who have nothing serious to add its the kcic campaign that is not serious.

How far do you expect everyone to keep bending for sisu?

Yes it looks that way to me and probably 9000 stay away fans.
He said its irrelevant how many ccfc fans go and watch their team !!!

So it wasn't saying about the figures demonstrating viewpoints and opinions? He just said attendances don't matter full stop?

You like mentioning the 9000 stay away fans as some sort of backup, it probably doesn't look that way as 9000 stayaway fans probably wouldn't know who Grendel was if you asked them. There are probably quite a few who have no idea who Tim Fisher is either.

Lol priceless.
For someone who only supports ccfc and not Sisu, you don't half defend their actions a lot !!!!

There is no defence and there is no "bending over" merely a cold rational statement that the club will not return unless tactics are deployed to move the other side as they are far more likely to be influenced by local communities having and expressing a negative public perception.

If people have an issue with that then fine then expect no change for some considerable time.

Perhaps your "loyalty" will be rewarded with reduced community charges or improved public services.

There isn't a business on Earth that would fund a "Basket Case" that is £70m+ and rising, in debt. Unless there are more sinister goings on behind the scenes "Allegedly". Step back and look at things with an open mind for one minute. This is purely conjecture, and No accusations are being made or inferred. If a cost of £150k per season is charged to the Club"CCFC" NOT SISU....and Debts from other ventures in their vast repertoire of businesses are dumped into Otium(Owners of CCFC) then ownership of the football club is moved to another "Arm" of the SISU enterprise, and Otium are liquidated. Ad Infinitum. £150k PA is "Chicken feed" Wouldn't you say?....Just putting it out there for you all to "Chew the fat" Allegedly!

You seem to be doing a lot of defending yourself !
I'm amazed that your now making assumptions for the 9000 stay away fans !!
Even classing them as not aware of whats going on and knowing who Tim Fisher is !!
Keep digging Yours and Sisu's hole.....

I'm not, you are the ones making assumptions for them by bringing them into everything ;)

What was I defending then?

There is defending and explaining what actually happened isn't there?

You need to take a break - you are ranting and raving with no rational thought.

Aren't you a Luton fan now?

Michael, what is ACL stance on the club returning?

Have they confirmed the rental deal they offered is still there??

Is it just a case of Sisu accepting it or is there room for negotiation on certain aspects of the deal?

Until these questions are answered you can't just say "put pressure on Sisu to accept the deal"

We need to here from ACL

I suppose I am one of the non believers Michael refers to... as usual there is a skewed logic to his posts that on the face of it makes sense but doesn't really grasp the situation. A "short term rent teal" ain't going to happen at the moment- bringing Clive Eakin into it does not add any authenticity to it either - would be a nice cosy solution for ACL and the fans but is not in sisus interests whether we like it or not. They have shown no intention of doing anything but play complete hardball so unlikely to fold and sign a rent deal now. The only possible discussions we should be pushing for is the long term solution to the ownership of the stadium. That wont happen at all until the JR.
Oh and from what I hear, Caulm Wilson would rather be playing at Pride Park next season than the Ricoh or Sixfields.

As you're the one saying it's "fact" then surely you have to provide the evidence?

Yes fact !!
Or have you and Nick got any evidence to dispute this ?

seem to remeber ACL said at the time that the offer will remain open.

the only way Sisu are going to find out if there is room for negotiation is to respond to the offer in a manner other than denying it was ever made and when the FL confirmed the offer was made saying no direct offer was made.

your right. we cant just put pressure on Sisu to accept the deal but we can and should put pressure on them to use the offer as a starting point to negotiate a return to the Ricoh if only on a short term deal while all parties involved carry on playing poker.

Ok and then you can try and dispute ?

Fact 1)
We are currently playing home matches at Sixfields Northampton for up to three years approved by the league. With a possible extension.
Fact 2)
Sisu have announced plans to build a new stadium and shown pictures via an artists impression of new stadium.
Fact 3)
Sisu have held and set up committee regarding stadium.
Fact 4)
Sisu have employed CRBE to oversee project and aquire land.
Fact 5)
Sisu say they have held discussions with council authorities who operate outside Coventry's boundaries.
Fact 6)
Sisu on numerous occaisions and press releases have mentioned they are close to aquiring land which is in the Coventry area but not in Coventry.

We could equally put pressure on acl to make a statement to say the offer is still open then it's down to Sisu

Exactly, if they come out and say "this is the offer, this is why it is better than sixfields, this is the small print".

Down to SISU then isn't it? We can all see what is on offer too.

1. Most fans want us back at the Ricoh asap - yes/no
2. Comments from players like Wilson make it clear they want to be back at the Ricoh too -
yes/no
3. The last offer made by ACL was shown by Clive Eakin to be financially beneficial to the club compared with being at NTFC - yes/no
4. It would be good for fans, players and club finances to return to the ricoh even on a short-term rental deal - yes/no
5. The sides could then take as long as needed for a long-term agreement without the damage being done by being at NTFC - yes/no
6. The process is therefore for sisu to say we will return on the basis of the last ACL offer - yes/no
7.
If ACL then renege on that deal all fire is aimed at them - yes/no

Cheers

Michael, I am reading your questions and can't help think that these questions have been answered a million times, but alas we must make the total count of answers provided reach a response total of 1,000,001.

However looking at the questions for example "Most fans want us back at the Ricoh asap?". There is no disputing that question, however is it that simple that you have made out, no fan has all the factual information of the negotiations or any discussion held between all the parties involved in mess, we only have the snipets that are sent out to the press, unless you're one of the lucky ones to be on the inside!

Can I also point out this question to you as well "The process is therefore for sisu to say we will return on the basis of the last ACL offer?" The answer to this is No! How many more times must it be said before people to understand, we were relegated from the Championship for similar reasons, our owners will not continue to pump money into a black hole, meaning this Club must be reliant on the revenues it generates, something it hasn't been able to do thanks to previous deals, from previous owners of the Club which have left us with sweet fa.

Fresh negotiations need to take place, a new deal needs to be agreed, because it's obvious that the deal ACL have previously ushered out will still simply benefit ACL while giving CCFC a well needed deduction on the rent.

Hold on. I thought all that lot was bullshit and a new ground would never be built. Are you now saying it's "fact"?

None of that is evidence to back up your "fact". I demand evidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My opinion is not the dispute here. I am just presenting the facts Sisu have issued. And on the basis of the facts Sisu have no plans to return CCFC to Coventry !!!
I will look forward to your evidence facts that prove Sisu do have plans to return CCFC to Coventry ?
