Would not surprise me at the moment, police don't have the resources to manage a footy match and lunatics running round smashing up stuff

Speaking of Saturday:

"Reports of large groups of “Zulus” headed to city centre. This is the nickname for a football gang comprised of Birmingham City FC supporters. Not sure of their intentions, but suggestion that they are incensed at what the rioters are doing to the city."

(from http://birminghamriots2011.tumblr.com/)

So far, all the attention has been on the games being played in London (I think Bernie Ecclestone's a greedy idiot), but it's just as likely that games in Birmingham and Manchester could easily be called off. Might be a blessing in disguise for Coventry at the moment!

id rather play them now while they are still trying to sort their squad out! and marlon cant play sat as injured, you just know he will bang 2 or 3 in if/when he plays against us.

if the zulus are goin on a vigilante mission then fair play to them! hope they dish out plenty of pain to the morons smashing the shops up. :claping hands:

If it is right that the Zulu's are going to stop the rioters then the riots will stop. They are all top lads of Brum. Came across them a few times in the 80's. Even when we were not playing them but another Brum team. None of them are little sh1ts. I am just over 6' and most of them were bigger than me, so if similar to years ago then a force to be respected. Never saw any of them run however much they were outnumbered. Fair play to them.
