Turn our backs on the 87th Minute and shout we want sisu out
87 being significant as that was the last year we won something

trouble is mate by the 87th minute the ground will probably empty - unless you can get the Derby fans to join in with you!!!!

Not a bad idea. Why not do it at Brum this weekend. If were losing of course. Look a bit silly if were winning 3-0 or something

Just think that the derby game will be on telly, and may have more of an impact

I thought we were supposed to start singing "they don't care about the city, they don't care about the fans, Coventry football club, it's in the wrong hands"

Why not start this aswell on Saturday ?

I bought my train ticket online aswell so the game best not be cancelled or i'll lose my £2:20 - thats the equivalent of 3/4 of a pint, wankers.

Fair point. But i reckon more people would join in at an away game, probably every Cov fan would actually.

SISU want out of the club as well you know. Don't you think if they could sell it for what they want they would. I want SISU out just as much as the next person but something like this where 12 people will do it is just a waste of everyones time.

I agree, I can't see everyone doing it, maybe you could make a HUGE banner and place it over the seating area that is always taken up by the coventry university banner, I'm sure that would earn a place on sky sports tv

Chief Commentator!
two problems with your suggested matches:

Birmingham away, board probably wont be there to witness the anti-sisu chants (bit like yesterday when they were pointless to say the least and didnt help)
Derby at home , yes its on Sky, but again, why would our beloved board members turn up to a game when they can sit at home (along with most of the Coventry public)?? And are they going to be affected by a verbal demonstration via a TV screen??

Even if they were at the games, I cant see demo's taking effect!!

Probably take more effect if there was a demo AFTER a game, like the one at HR when Strachan left (even though the demo was mainly against Richardson).

Anything like this should be done after the game and not to the detriment of the team IMO. Our luck would be Juke through on goal and notices the fans with his back to him, he pauses and the keeper mops up....errrr no thanks.

Who gives one if sisu are at the games, I just think to get it across EVERY game sisu out, love the city hate the sisu, or even its in the wrong hands just to make it obvious to the public and even the newspapers that the fans want sisu out.

I think it would be better if we could find 87 women willing to run on the pitch naked throughout the Derby game, Would cause a disturbance attract national headlines and give us something decent to watch at the same time :guitar2:

if your in the ground singing.shouting, swearing, juggling or whatever you will have paid to get in and so Sisu have won ,so none of the above will make any differance,If the home stands were empty Sisu would leave on the next bus....simples..The problem is football fans pay to watch there team come what may and Sisu(and every other board at every other team) know this and exploit it.... I also think they have now decided to walk away but have delayed the meeting with Hoffman & Co (allegedly)so as to have more time to sell any players that might fetch a fee..ie Juke,Clingon and Turner

I think we as fans shoud do something and turning our backs on the 87th minute in games is something that can be done easily, none harmful, none disturbing but shows we all stand together, if you decide you dont want to do that is upto you no pressure. Sisu might not give a fuck and it won't make them walk away but its better than doing nothing as these take that as we are still in support of what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stand up turn around its a small thing but it may make a big impression!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it matters if Sisu notice or not. What it will do is at least give us the feeling like were doing something. Also it will be a bit of entertainment!

Atleast it will be more entertaining then the game....

Like they give a fk! Once the ticket is sold they couldn't care if you went at all let alone turned around with three minutes to go. It will do the club no good at all. Imagine if we're 1-1 and that happens, what kind of message does it send? Especially if we then go on to concede, they will tell us it's all our fault.

Remember SI*U operate outside the board, only a couple of bods on the board are SI*U people. Back in May they said the negative reports about Si*U were a reason why Si*U were thinking about pulling funds out of CCFC. Do something against them on national TV may humiliate them in London.

Turning your back, as well intentioned as it is, will do fook all.

The only way that they will sod off back to Finland is by boycotting the games. I'ts the only way they will take notice but it will never happen as not everyone will be prepared to miss games they've paid for on there season ticket.

What about during the game no1 go in the ground and stand outside then anyone that don't want to waste money on season tickets can go in.

We could even do it in a '' Lech Posnan'' style all fans together group. It would have the effect.

They want out but can't find a buyer. Would a protest find us a buyer quicker?

We ought to be careful on protesting. They want out and most of us want them out. The problem we have is if we protest too much could it scare away any investors if any are in place? They would run a mile if they thought they would get bad publicity for investing their own money in us if things don't go to plan.

Some good ideas on here, and although staying away would be the most effective, it would also be pretty much impossible to achieve.
Chanting would only really work at away games, where everyone joins in.
Home game v's Derby, with it being on sky the best idea has to be banners, and as many of them as possible. PUSB
