There is no limit to the equity a club can put in, but it must be in form of donation - not loan.

SISU have a way of donating to the club but it appears back on the books as debt.

We were debt free when they took over but the debt was still there at administration.:thinking about:
The debt was reduced as a result of administration but apparently we are still 60-70M in debt :thinking about:

The club is a means to an end. Just wish SISU would FUCK OFF.

Did he say that before or after the trust said they wouldn't help him? To be fair when I spoke to him he said he was wrong, but has never said that in public maybe he should?

He said last year while we are away the budget will be the same, meaning sisu cover costs by putting equity in.... Though would they put more in if we got bk to the Ricoh next season? Massive summer which has to finish in that scenario.....

These are the rules that are in place for FFP. They can't skirt around them. They are still adding to debt through the interest from existing debt, as this doesn't fall under the SCMP.

They can if they choose, give Pressley as much as they want... What they actually give him is another thing.

Perhaps if someone was visionary enough in the club to think success on pitch equates to better financial performance we might be a bit further along.

Can anyone tell us how Swindon set up yesterday ?

I see we played the diamond ,a criticism ,we lacked width

Were we matching them up?

I see In SP's post match he refers to players who've already experienced relegation showing mental strength ,addressing that in the summer.

I can only think of Baker ,Thomas, Murphy ,Christie and Clarke,2-3 of them are likely off anyway.

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley admits that the Sky Blues are in a relegation fight and expressed that the mentality of the players is crucial in the next few weeks after a disappointing last minute loss to Swindon Town at Sixfields.

The defeat left Coventry on 49 points, five ahead of 21st placed Carlisle with 3 games to play. Despite City looking like they could snatch a winner, a loss means the Sky Blues are in a relegation battle, a situation Pressley assures he and the club are well aware of.

Pressley said: “We’re in it. We are very much aware of that. We are 5 points above the team lying in the last relegation place.

“The truth is, we have a number of players at this club that have experienced relegation. They need to prove to this football club, and our supporters, that they have the mental capacity to deal with these situations.

“That’ll be the big question over the next few weeks, do these players have that mentality or is that part of their make-up.”

Have to take from that he's being implicit about Baker and Thomas.
