Apparently Carsley is still at the Club coaching the U-18's I think. Don't know if he has still got a player's licence. What about playing him even if only on a temporary basis, he is very experienced and would help the younger players, and would fill the gap in midfield, even if he is a very similar player to Sammy. Just look what Dennis Wise and Don Hutchinson did for us. Just a thought:thinking about:

I'm just waiting for him to be takeover manager if thorny ever gets the boot.
Hope not

An option, but would he be any where fit enough to play at full pelt for even a half??
Wouldn't want to see him have a cardiac in the centre circle.

I think he's moved on from that now, he picked up too many injuries and was intent on becoming a coach and taking that route.

Saw an article where he said he was eager to play still either at a higher or lower league but that coaching is also something that interests him. So I wouldn't rule him out! He strikes me as the kind of person that just loves the game. Lets face it we need any players we can get.

I think we'd all love to see him in a City shirt again but I can't see it happening!

Just out of interest... Does anyone know if we've got a chief scout now that Thorny is full time... Not that we need one!

No Sisu thought it more prudent to get two new board members instead !!!!!!!

Would have preffered us to pull in Graham Alexander who was available on free all summer before joining P.N.E

The difference being Hutchison and Wise were talented.
