The first part of that sentence is correct but I disagree with the second part. If I'm an investor, I either have too much money and don't care what I do with it, or I want a return on investment. I can't see SISU making money from us unless we get back to the top flight and if they cut their losses, that'll be the financial indicator that they've monumentally failed (although there's already plenty of those!).

I think its clear that the Higgs £6m payment to CCFC for 50% of ACL was not an investment in which they were expecting a return as evidenced by the fact that they took no cash out of the business and were prepared to sell it at a loss rather than doing a SIS'u and holding on to CCFC in the small hope that they make get a return.

Absolutely correct, as anyone who runs their own business will know you run this risk of losing every penny you put in. Any half decent business owner or investor knows when to admit defeat and walk away rather than keep pouring money in with slim to no chance of a return.

Like that hedge fund @ Crystal Palace who also did'nt own the Ground . Far better for the next ( hopefully Fan led Backer )owner to come In and reap the benefit of fresh Investment and possibly pick up a desperate ACL in the process.
