What a bumbling baffoon you really are. Not only a shite speaker who everyone could hear the shaking in your voice but your input was simply a waste of the forums time. Not one answer to a question. I really feel for Thorn who's been shafted and he knows it. Poor bastard who doesn't deserve the cards dealt to him.

If this the best you can do Clouting then piss off.

To be fair to him though he isn't the one with the money and he has to strike a difficult balance between keeping fans reassured and optimistic and then also being realistic... not easy for a club operating with no money which isn't his fault. It all comes down to SISU really... if they were splashing the cash Cloutings job would be easy and I'm sure he'd enjoy it a lot more that way.

Clouting should NEVER of turned up if he was going to put in that type of performance. Its in my eyes made the situation even more worse than before regarding SISU.

Just going through a major reorganisation at work, management are asked questions and try to dodge and duck whilst sounding convincing. It's an art that many politicians have but clearly Clouting hasn't and this is a SISU own goal, its easier to be transparent with the fans when you have a reasonable story to tell but when you've got nothing to say it only confirms to us that we are bollaxed and sinking fast under SISU who have no viable medium term strategy or short term solutions.

Clouting did nothing to reassure the fans last night, in fact I think he may have just reinforced the fans views on the board. Felt bad for Thorny who had to deal with questions on new players which he obviously couldn't answer honestly with Clouting next to him.

Someone asked a really clever question of AT. "In what areas have we strengthened", LOL. AT struggled not to admit we have weakened all areas.

The times said something like this today "The new Fair play rule in the football league will be implemented within the next 5 seasons!"

When did Mr Clouting say they were to be in forced by???

he said they would definitley come in at the start of next season even when challenged on this by Linnell. If he told you it was night outside you would still go and check.

Let's be realistic about the new financial rules, and when they may become reality.

There has to be a lead-in period, during which clubs have time to adjust their finances. Once agreed to, the new rules cannot be implemented at short notice(eh within two or three years), because of existing contracts with players. To do otherwise would leave clubs (and, subsequently the league) open to law suits for breach of contract.

Bottom line is, that whatever regs are agreed, it will be a few years before they are fully in force.

We are being misled on this, IMO, it's just a convenient excuse to justify current policy at the club.

Clouting is just another clown, like those on the board, bleeding this club dry.

I cant believe they actually dont realise what such a monumental own goal last night was.

Unless they are the most clueless buisness ever, which is a possibility, I cant honestly see how they will survive past next season, as if the prospects for this season are anything to go by, at the end of this season attendances will have diminished so far we will be losing money at an alarming rate, and who will buy a season ticket for next season if thses crooks are still in charge. No one.

So who will cover the losses then??

The soooner they go the better. I hate them for they way they are making me feel about my club, when its not theres to make me feel so bad about it. Frankly they are nothing but cheap scum.

Did not listen to the Fan's Forum live due to work stuff BUT just listened again on CWR and could not agree with you more. This is simply an excuse for the lack of finance being put into the club right now. SISU: GET OUT OF OUR CLUB!!!!

SISU are using the fair play thing as an excuse as it suits there agenda. Bet they were rubbing there hands when they heard about it. It will not be implemented next season at all it's a slow process.

I sometimes think we may be better going under and re-forming at times. This club needs a break. What the heck can the football gods chuck at us now?

The Financial Fair Play rules are already in use. They are issued by UEFA and masterminded by Platini.
In the first phase it affects all clubs who want to play in european competitions like the champions league.
Manchester City's wet dream is playing there, but even if they qualify this season, they will probably not be allowed to play.

When it comes to the lower leagues like the championship it is believed the rules will be accepted and in effect from next season.

We don't really have 5 seasons to 'get it right' as at the end of next season we will be judged on the average of this and the next season. By the end of season 2012/13 we are judged on the average of the last three seasons.

A stumbling block is player ammortization. If we somehow found 10 million to buy new players and put them on three year contracts, the ammortization would mean that each of the next three season we would be set back 3.33 million. Add to that the estimated yearly loss of 4 million and we are way past the the penalty line.

The board are doing the right thing at the right time.
