Imposter on GMK (6 Viewers)

Just noticed I have an imposter on GMK. Sounds like a smear campaign against my good name as I can currently only find the one post and it has racial undertones, strange that as I have been attacked on here by some GMK faithful for pointing out casual racism on GMK threads. Still imitation is a form of flattery.

Ooh, by the way. A "black bloke" who was a player manager in the premiership? I can only think of Ruud Gullit for Chelsea, although Ryan Giggs is mixed race.

Wouldn't worry, Tony. Someone used to text CWR saying they were me. It's all a bit odd pretending to be someone else from a message board.

Not sure what you used to text tony, but if it was pro council stuff for a bit of irony and fun and no harm intended that is not too bad, but racism WTF?

Being a cynical type of person. I would ask whoever runs gmk for the IP address from said imposter. Then pass it on to Nick on here to see if it matches with anyone.

How do we know that you are not the imposter and the one on GMK is the real one who is getting upset by your posts on here? :thinking about:

I ain't fussed anyway Nick. Personally I find it funny, plus when you've hit a nerve and someone reacts like that it sort of proves that you were right in the first place.

Nice to know you respect the privacy of a persons IP address. Does that mean I can make some outrageous comments about sisu knowing there would be no comeback ;-)

It depends, if by law I am forced then I will give it out. If Tim Fisher rings and said "where does so and so live" then no.

Aren't you protected under law through some sort of journalistic privilege? Can you buy press credentials? In all seriousness, as soon as Sisu/Otium/whoever start demanding fans' private IP info off a web forum through litigation, it would "look bad" for them in the news. Not sure if that'd be enough to prevent them going forward, however...

And do not worry someone on here will take good care of your wife in the event of your incarceration or untimely demise.

To be fair, no matter what has been said about SISU I haven't had any of those issues so far.

No idea if I am protected or not, I don't really fancy a court case because of somebody being a tool on a website.

Much easier to just sort it and carry on with my day than start acting outraged, especially if the person on here has actually done something wrong.

The sooner people learn they aren't totally anonymous and free from any repercussions on the internet the better.

And if anyone has a problem with that I'll be in The Litten Tree from 2. ;)

Exactly, especially when it comes to throwing around personal insults and accusations.

Some of the stuff people have had aimed at that, it would be a hitman or a dodgy fella from down the pub I would be speaking to, not me ;)

I'm definitely guilty of it myself anyway. So you might as well ignore what I'm saying to be fair.

To be fair, giving people abuse and making up stuff about them could be different ;)

People do keep going on about how SISU take legal action against the fans yet some of the people/fans who hate it most also insinuate legal action when they don't like something.
