Out of all the released players, who would you want???

My Picks:
Billy Clarke
Anton Robinson
Peter Clarke
James Bailey
Reda Johnson
David Prutton
Lee Miller
Dany N'Guessan

Would really like Bailey back, thought he was a good player.

Lovely hair too.

Kedwell and Wallace also available apparently. Both could bring a lot to the team. Out of the list above, only Prutton, B. Clarke, Johnson and N'Guessan would make a differance imo

Funny how some people don't rate bailey yet rate Conor Thomas who really has been piss poor this year.

Bailey was class under Robins, when Pressley first joined I got the impression that he didn't really rate Bailey though. Would be much better than Barton/Daniels/Thomas

How sad a state of affairs it is when a once fine premiership club's fans are talking about what bargains/has beens it can maybe pick up for free.

The sad thing is I bet we won't even be able to afford half of their wages ?!

It's probably down to the players that we couldn't afford when we were a "once fine premiership club" to be honest.

Andy Little.. A 6ft utility player, he can play anywhere in defence and midfield, and can also be used as a striker. "I don't really have a set position, I have played upfront, right-back and in midfield,

Scored 22 in 28 last season for Rangers. This season he missed a lot of games due to a broke cheekbone.

Wonder if he is another Rangers player on Pressleys radar

Reading have announced that they have released captain Jobi McAnuff, 32, midfielder Mikele Leigertwood, 31, defender Kaspars Gorkss, 32, defender Wayne Bridge 33, and goalkeeper Stuart Taylor, 33.

Liegertwood would be an absolute monster in this division but I'd say he'll stay in the champ, same with McAnuff and Bridge.

Nah, now it's down to the players we couldn't afford as a fine Championship club. And I'm sure in 10 years well all be lamenting a once proud League 1 club is scratching around the non-league for players and if only we hadn't overspent on Manset and Barton.

If we spend more than we bring in then we have overspent, simple as.

I agree. Just pointing out that it's not a new thing and that the debt from the Prem has gone. The debt now was spent on the likes of Eastwood and Kyle not Chippo and Hadji.

Wasn't making a point, just find it depressing. I don't mind paying for enjoyable times so much, but not for the Coleman years.

Nope. As Lord pointed out when relegated our wage bill was 125% of income. It might have been nice watching Dublin on 20K and Hartson being on just as much but it proved somewhat of a catalyst for our club.

on that note

[h=3]QPR’S wage bill is higher than Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund and their losses are bigger than Manchester City’s.[/h]QPR lost £65.4 million last season while their debt almost doubled to £177m.

QPR’s turnover fell to £60.6m – which does not even cover their wage bill, which rose from £58.4m in 2011/12 to £78m last season.

Where did it go? It wasn't paid off, just added to.

I think QPRs owners are a little richer than ours were.

If i rightly remember we made a good profit on Hartson.
