UKIP are a bunch of establishment, right-wing nutters no doubt. The idea that what we need is a privately educated banker representing the people is frankly ludicrous!

However, people are hurting. It's not immigration, it's 30 years of trying to turn the working class in this country into low wage slaves to compete with China and refusal to support basic services like schools and housing.

No-one gives a fuck about Ahmed next door if you've got a decent job, somewhere to live and well funded services. This shit only appears when government fail in their job of looking after the people of their country. Immigration needs looking at, the EU needs looking at, however we will be far worse outside the EU. Farage would have you with no protection, working for pennies an hour.

The major parties need to stop this "anyone who says that there is a British culture is racist" crap. Most people just don't buy it. It's the same problem with the feminists and "rape culture", what may start out as a valid point in some cases becomes a tired cliche that offends people and shuts down discussion. When you shut down discussion you hand the debate to the crazies.

Agree with a lot of that - unfortunately the agenda is not being set by those who want to debate services, housing, NHS etc and you have to ask why

Yes you do. I will reiterate my previous wish for a proper working class party of the left.

I blame New Labour entirely for the focus group-isation of politics that's lead to nothing people care about being debated. Farage looks like a breath of fresh air because they're all too scared of saying anything someone might pick up on. Look at Milliband censuring that guy (forgot his name) for correctly using the word rape, what the fuck is that about?

They should notice that none of these so called "scandals" touch Farage, they add to his sense of authenticity. Better to drop the PR gurus and get back to debating ideas. You might not convince everyone but at least we'll have a proper choice.
