Plenty of talk about the army coming onto the streets when these riots were at there height. Well it happened. As early as the Tuesday night army were deployed in London doing specific jobs which perhaps is why Police chiefs are miffed with Cameron, it appears the cops were sidestepped and of course once the military get involved they take over command.
Specially trained military units were put onto the streets from the Royal Marines, the Commando units, specialists from Northern Ireland and you can bet the S.A.S.
Specialist observers trained in identifying people in disguises such as face coverings etc, were out running with the rioters, photographing rioters and pin pointing the ring leaders as it is clear proffesional criminals were involved. Some of these army guys were masked up the same with head cams the works, that little thug on TV mouthing he can't be caught because of his disguise I'll put money on will be nicked as an example in a week.
My nephew, a COVENTRY CITY fan (to keep this football related) and a West Midlands cop, who is one of those based at Canley nick who's sole role are raids and putting the doors in has told me they have dozens if not hundreds of addresses to visit and expects to be busy for months and has been told no holidays for the forseeable future and some of his colleagues have had to cancel their hols. So they ain't happy. He also also told me the old bill have been told to bust the gangs running the streets of England in any way possible and a virtual zero tolerence after 9pm will happen. These crooks and drug dealers are going to curse the day these riots happened i think.
