Waheyyy! Some good news at last. I love the way things have got so bad that we now regard a player not going to a game as a positive

Perhaps David Bell hasn't traveled because he's gone to fetch the ball from one of his wayward passes.

One of our senior players in our already thin squad is injured... Yeah great news :|

Wouldn't it be wiser to ask if he should be in the team anyway in view of his poor showing 3 games running?

When Bell is good he's really good, when he's not he's awful. He's only really god about once in every five games. Bring him back after the Watford game I say! :D

How is this good news? FFS he maybe shite but he's our shite! Get behind the players and the manager. Losing a senior player for a tough away game is not good.

He was one of our best players against Leicester.

An awful lot of people said he was very poor, Steve. An awful lot of people said he was totally disinterested and hardly broke sweat.

i wouldn't go that far but I thought he was poor for sure.

No-one wants a squad player injured and I don't believe for a minute that people are actually happy for him to be injured. A lot of people i think will be happy he has been replaced though. I hope he recovers soon and comes back with a bit of fire in his belly and shows a bit more passion and drive.

As I say, when he's good he's very good.

This is the weakest squad I've known since I've supported city (20 years). We know what the problems are with SISU etc. But why keep slagging off players that we need to get the best out of? Football is a confidence game - so its counterproductive to keep running our players down (on another thread its Hussey who gets it, but come on how much first team experience has he had?). Our only hope is to get behind our team to give them a lift. PUSB

Don't understand the Hussey slagging at all.

The Bell abuse is pretty much down to his apparent attitude though rather than his ability as a footballer.

i believe any footballer who doesn't pull their weight deserves to get slagged off.

Same goes for McShuffty.

I thought he was really poor at blues but Leicester he seemed to be lively. Oh well, different opinions eh.

Gallows humour!! :D

Anyone hear Swansea singing at 86 minutes last night? "4-3, we're gonna win 4-3"

Real footie fans who dont follow the arrogant big sides are one of the best things about the current state of our game.
