Absolutely. JR will be a turning point on the next move for sisu. Either it's goodbye or they aim to get the Ricoh. Sisu are hoping it's the later. Nobody is out there that will pay them the price they would want for the club,

Players have been free to sign a pre contract since the start of the year if they are going to be out of contract. If they are not signing players until the last minute they risk losing their targets for the price of a couple of weeks wages.

I don't think it means they have one hand in the plug as with the transfer embargos and crap signing over the last 5 years you could argue they have had one hand in the plug since.
Remember these people don't have a clue how to run a successful football club. See the last 3 years for proof if you wish.
It seems a real shame as a slight investment in this league and you can really easily get top 6. This league is piss poor and invest say that 1 million from Leon and/or another million of own money and you could bring in 6 players good enough with what we have to gain a top 6 if not a top 2 easily.
Look at the 3 teams relegated from championship. All 3 will struggle to an extent this year. Really is a gap to easily get out of this crap league. For proof see wolves, hardly sold any players and played in Wolverhampton and easily won the league. Should of been us really the year before. We are lucky he team is still full of crap teams and only 3 probably are good. Sheffield utd, Peterborough included.
Will the owners take this chance or battle a worthless JR?

With the debt owed to ARVO now being classed as short term and payable within the next 12 months the dreaded scenario of liquidation does seem to be rearing its ugly head. The problem with CCFC at the moment is know one knows what is actual cash debt and what is paper debt in the form of management fees and charges. The JR is the tipping point for the owners, they loose and I can not see them supporting the club in any form as far as the transfer market goes. Elvis is probably right in going on a cruise, what will be will be and he cant do anything until he knows what the clubs position will be after the court room shenanigans. They could possibly sell but I cant see that happening as they would not get a decent return unless the £1 they paid for the club is correct and the paper debts they have accrued are removed which would give them a profit. The thing is every scenario is hypothetical, their are I am sure several scenarios we don't even know about, who for instance new about Robbo and McGinnity having to pay guarantor fees other than the club and ACL. Sepalla does have a plan but we and the team will be the last to here about it.

SP is about to go on a cruise apparently, during 5 days of this cruise he will not be contactable by phone... Do you think he's expecting any chance at all of transfer activity?

In answer to the OP. It's an easy assumption to come to and you could argue the same about the delaying of the FL payment. It's only assumptions though.

I understand their strategy and I don't necessarily disagree.But they must be happy to risk losing first choice targets. The other problem with leaving signings late is that the player signed might not get a proper pre - season.
Or they just don't care and rather spend the money on lawyers !!!

With these clowns we will wait to see what players are left after the other teams have had first pick.
while I dearly hope the exit strategy doesn't involve killing the club if it does then we may as well get it over with, so we can start to rebuild from wherever we end up. if it is their strategy to kill us then it's hard to see any reason for that strategy to change and so there is no benefit to drawing it out.
I struggle to see how the club gets destroyed though, surely any exit strategy even ones that involve an administrator or liquidator involve the club or assets of the companies being sold off in order to bring in the most amount of money for the main creditor (ARVO)
nearly all cruise ships have mobile phone service and internet, it's quite expensive though about £150 for 10 hours of online time on the cruiseline we use, but the less you buy the more expensive it is per minute but you only need a couple of minutes actually online to receive and send e-mail, you can compose offline of course.
SP probably has the money for more luxury cruise lines too where the internet tends to be alot cheaper. Of course perhaps he just doesn't want to be contacted which is perfectly reasonable.
We are going on a cruise on Tuesday would be funny to see SP onboard and watch an england match with him in the bar.

oh sure, we could easily be killed by the football league having enough of us, but that could just as easily happen if sisu stay and the football league realise there never was any plan to build a new stadium.
I was talking about the fact people talk about sisu liquidating us and that being it, but while I could easily be wrong it seems to me calling in the liquidator wouldn't be the end of us, we'd be sold. it would of course require the football league to play ball but it seems they only really care about fulfilling fixtures so we should be fine.

However I don't think that is the reason for the lack of transfer activity. Transfers are the remit of fisher and waggot and the decision to pull the plug will come from an authority far higher than them.

IMHO, this battle became personal rather than business, when Joy was outflanked by CCC's mortgage purchase.
I say that, as quite frankly, there is no business case at all, for us to be playing in Northampton.
Should SISU lose the JR, I have no doubt Joy would threaten liquidation (again), whilst demanding a King's ransom not to.

She can threaten liquidation again sure but who is she threatening to? No one will listen now as no one cares. It's all her own fault. If she hadn't of pissed around getting something for nothing with the Higgs share then we wouldn't be here now.

I don't think SISU will pull the plug- unless they don't have a reason to own the club as a tax loss anymore, or really don't think they can sell it "on the up" as Timmy said.

Yep. Under Sisu we've only signed 3 players in June, all in Ranson's first summer (Beuzelin, Westwood, Gunnarsson) and by this point only Beuzelin had signed.

i dont think we will sign anyone till the jr is over ,and if it does'nt go sisu's way they wont be around for much longer,but what will she do to our club out of spite thats what we all waiting to see.very worried

1. State none of our best players are for sale (unless a ridiculous offer comes in).
2. Manager states he has made list of targets and wants to do business early
3. One, or more, of our best players gets sold
4. Manager states that doing business is proving tricky
5. Club say that they are working hard within the FFP rules to get players
6. Manager states that they are waiting for Premier squads to be finalised to see who is left
7. End up with a couple of stray stragglers.
Currently on step 2...
