@TheSimonGilbert: Original £1.3m rent deal would have come back into force after three years.

I guess Sisu's game plan here on taking ccc to court is the damages.
An interesting tidbit. So the £400k not a great deal then.

@TheSimonGilbert: Sisu agreed deal for £400k rent (subject to conditions) via bank in 2012.
I would have thought a bank would be happy to be paid and not be out of pocket.
Dry your eyes fella. World Cup starts this week.
Tomorrow actually.
Judge said yesterday acl have every right to pursue different avenues to ensure right deal for acl.
Lets hope the Judge is a member of UKIP then@BBCCovWarks: . Expected to cite EU directives on state aid. #sisuvccc
Is that next week?
Of course they have. All of the talk was of some 'secret deal' hatched between SISU and ACL with a view to disadvantaging the bank with a view to SISU then stepping in and enjoying a cut-price bonanza. This really would have been the 'smoking gun' often discussed on here. But those allegations don't seem to be true in the slightest. Or at least haven't seen the light of day as yet. And to be frank, if they had a slither of truth to them, they'd be out by now, surely?
I think its brazil vs Croatia tomorrow straight after opening ceromany. I have verbally betted that Croatia will be the worst divers in the compo.
Its quite difficult to get excited about this world cup for some reason

@TheSimonGilbert: Sisu look like they will ask the court to rule on damages too.
That isn't the smoking gun is it? Never was my opinion. The fact an almost equivalent offer from YB was on the table before CCC bought out the loan is bigger news.
Love this from Judge...
@TheSimonGilbert: Judge says councillors entitled to consider politics in decision making process for 14.4m ACL loan as they are politicians.
