Obviously TF and ML thought 400k was fair. They shook on it.

What's your response to that?

Food and beverage being the answer doesn't cut the mustard( excuse the pun) as TF and ML thought it was a good deal.

You asked a question - I tried to answer. Just because I think something is good, doesn't mean my boss will agree with my idea does it?

And let's be honest... They signed a draft HOT agreement which neither followed through on. What makes you think a handshake holds any weight either way?

It's strange how Heads of Terms being agreed(and the day after the council working in total opposite to them) can be said all the time to be not legally binding, yet a handshake is?

Is Joy the boss of Otium though? Shouldn't the Directors be making the decisions?

If you read the actual transcript carefully you will notice that sisu QC rather quickly suggest they will accept a ruling of 'no order as to cost'.
It then takes the ACL QC quite some time to accept that.
Then the judge says he would have come to the same conclusion.

Well you get what you pay for, expect the Higgs barrister did it for nothing so he wouldn't rip off a children's charity.

Why shake on it then? They obviously thought is was a good deal and fair else you obviously wouldn't shake on it.

Your boss may not agree sure that's fine but no reason as to why not as your two directors think it is good. She made the decsion to be an arse as it had got personal and wasn't a business decsion and for the good of me (the fan) IMO. Seems she is use to winning and the council screwing her over didn't go down well with her as a person.

Yes sorry didn't manage to finish the post off as I was changing busses and added the rest just now. It seemed to me looking at the transcripts that the Sisu QC had already been told to say that and the Higgs one had to check with his clients if that was okay hence the delay.

Don't care how much it cost the Higgs that's their problem, I don't know who has paid for the army of Sisu lawyers in that case and I hope it isn't our club and the costs being added to the debt mountain.

Can't see it being anything else. I would love investment in the squad instead. Real chances in this crap league.

You must have been drunk too, babes. Pete was playing Stairway To Heaven on his ukelele for the under-five horticulturalists. Went down a storm.

Well don't tell him then. I don't think he checks this website anymore.

Why sign Heads of Terms if you're immediately going to do something different?

Not shaking anybodys hands again just in case i end up married to them as it's binding or something.

It works both ways.

SISU didn't continue with what was agreed. Was this another plan of theirs to distress ACL? If so it didn't work as CCC were free to do what they wanted after the time had run out. SISU didn't like this. So then we get to the point of the JR :(

OK, it didn't come up in the JR but let's not forget about the player contract situation.. are we expected to believe the reason that the player assets were (mostly) not in the company that owned the golden share & no one knew where the golden share was (despite it being clearly described in board minutes that were later published online) was some sort of freak accident or because 'the accounts were in a mess'...

The fact that they were largely in the "wrong company" might be taken as evidence that club administration was being planned for in parallel to these negotiations.. so were SISU actually saying one thing in negotiations with ACL yet working on an alternative strategy in secret?

Otium was set up in Delieu's time. I think that tells you how long the GS con had been planned.

Football League should never have allowed the share transfer and are ultimately to blame for everything here.

There Is a consensus and i think evidence that Fisher was doing discussions with Higgs /ACL prior to the time he actually joined the board .

It's not that hard to make the leap he was behind the creation of Otium.

My personal view Is that most of the Strategy since that summer of the player exodus was spent formulating the plan which see's us in the

position we find ourselves ,I'm convinced he's not the puppet portrayed.

The JR:
I think I was still on transcript 2 early parts when you decided all I did was pulling up points apparently in sisu's favour. I don't know how you read the transcripts (if indeed you bothered), but I started from the top. As it was sisu's QC all the way to midway day 2 I hadn't really reach anything that was not in favour of sisu's case. Maybe I should have made something up or purposely misunderstand a point or two to appear more balanced, but I didn't.
Later when I came to the CCC QC's admission I did put up what I found in favour of CCC/ACL.

I made some comments on the narrative that sisu QC presented about how this whole story as I found it was way off the narrative we have been told through the press and by e.g. PWKH on this board. When I did make such comments it was when sisu QC quoted from emails, reports or sworn testimonials.
I've only just got to the early bits of day 2 so so far for a variety of reasons and have therefore mostly read the Sisu QC painting a picture of the council as deceptive, lying bustards. I will get to the council QC shortly and what he says in response. For me the news so far has been that Joy was going to stop funding the club and the council now have Car Park C.

Well done James. Anne and Schmee will be proud of you.

For what? The fact that I left my bag at the house of a mate who went abroad the next day, or my reading ability? And why the hell would they care how far I am into the transcripts?

345 days + since Tim promised us the plans of the new stadium were weeks away. Looks like it's nearly a year now.
Not a sign, the merest hint of the new stadium. At what point will it dawn there isn't going to be one, never was.
For ever and ever and ever, Sisu are just holding our club hostage. They want everything for nothing.
How long can this go on?
A Sisu dismissal to even discuss this KCIC proposal will tell anyone lingering hopefully that they will come good, it has to be a final nail in their coffin.
They turn down a deal where the fans, the ones they've insulted, abused, you name it, would help THEM to pay to play at the Ricoh - that must tell anyone, including RFC, what they're about.

It's nothing to do with you, it's between sisu and the football league. You.aren't allowed to ask questions.
