What is the harm in asking a few questions and things on the phone before meeting up?
Especially with all of the "Pick up the phone" newsletters that have been sent out?
Surely if anything sounds a bit dodgy just reply with "Well we can discuss that in the meeting" or something?

I will make an offer to cover the rent, and SISU will not have to pay anything. Am absolutely certain ACL will accept my offer.
I give no detail about what my offer is... but I expect representatives of the club to drop everything to meet me to discuss my offer, without checking a few basic details first.
I will be in the Britannia Hotel on Thursday, I am sure Labovitch will nip up to meet me on that basis.

Why would it be such an issue for ML to reply by email?
Surely this protects everyone involved including sisu. Unless of course ML is pulling everyones chain and just wants to pay a bit of lip service to spin into what he would deem as good PR.
The company I work for does almost all their sales and purchasing by email, it's the way the world works these days and the main reason we do it at work is because it leaves a paper trail that everyone can follow and no one party can backtrack on that.

I had already stated a phone call is what is required at first -- I thought it was odd a face to face meeting was needed - Why? Will it be minuted and the minutes agreed both sides? This is an informal discussion around an idea and the details can be forwarded in advance of the call. All issues can, if needs be, be discussed by E-Mail in advance and an agenda established for the conference call.
There is no need for anything other than that.

No it isn't. My opinion is Michael has been led up the garden path by the investors who are phone shy. Make your own mind up as to why. I feel sorry for him to be fair as he is trying hard to make things happen. I think he needs to choose friends wisely and they are not always those who hang on to his every word.

I have had enough of the 'he said that she said that'. So what would be wrong with an email where it could be looked at in the future instead of arguing over what was said? How about the last rental offer that SISU were given that they tried to say didn't happen? And that was made through the FL as well.
I have two mobile phones I use. One for work and one for social use. I use them for taking pictures and videos, writing emails, going on the internet and also sometimes use them for making phone calls amongst other things. If he can use his phone to make a call he should be able to send an email. Or doesn't it suit?
