Can the "specific Kcic contact" not just phone ML now & stop all the dicking around....

Jesus fucking Christ.....its like pulling teeth...

I'm just pleased we are passed all the childish nonsense and we now have some reasonable adults trying to sort things out.

If SISU come on here posting about it then I will be sure to do the same with questions ;) Then I will use any information received (or not) to make a judgement.

I guess it will be about the same time all of the people saying pick up the phone actually start picking up the phone and the ones moaning they get no answers actually answer people though! :)[/QUO

Your not the boss of a bad call centre team are you?

You think?

Come on nick, post exactly what you asked and he said.

He wants to get more information about the offer before meeting to see if it is serious and stuff to then meet up and talk about it further but needs some sort of idea about it all.

I'm not going to start posting up things people sent in private, as said before.

This is only my opinion but whoever it is running the show shouldn't just put people up there in front, they should just speak directly with SISU and cut the crap. I think it is obvious Michael doesn't know much about this deal so why send him to front it as it just makes Michael look bad?

wahey finally kcic agree to a phone call to arrange a meeting

nice of them that, they must really love ccfc to lower themselves to a phone call.

of course they could not do it without a snipey bitchy statement. that will help matters.

I posted it, I think he wants to have a quick chat about things before meeting up. I can't personally see the issue with that, can you?

Sorry, just find it ironic Michael sent out loads of emails about picking up the phone but then refuses to when he could make himself a hero ;) Maybe people in their "unbiased" world can't see that ;)

It is not the fact he won't take a phone call, it is that he can't / won't answer any basic questions and throws digs around but when he gets asked a simple question it is like somebody is shitting on the queens crown or something the way people react.

If he wants to have a quick chat about things before meeting up, could ML not do this by email? Equally I can't personally see the issue with that, can you?

I can if it is going to take ages to do anything ie Email to Michael / has to go away and get answers from others / come back and type them up / come back to check for a reply for ml / go back to others to get answers / come back and type them. If that is the case.

That is why I put the person with the answers should just speak direct.

clutching at straws Nick, you would have to do that with phone calls.

You do know that when you reply to an email you can copy other people in, like the backers and ML can also do the same with the relevent sisu personel. the amazing thing is everybody has instant access and none of the details get lost or changed by personal interpritation through the many links in the chain. Anyone who's watched the Ali G film or Madagascar 2 can tell you how messages can get distorted when they are being passed along a chain of people ;).

That is why they should arrange an appointment on Outlook (or similar) and have an introductory face to face meeting (for the umpteenth - ok third - time)! It really is that simple. Better use of time, no misunderstanding on phone call / email nuances, and with a definate outcome i.e. nothing to be done here, thanks for your time - or more to be discussed, lets set a meeting date so we can progress the detail.

This is why I despise spin and PR so much - waste of oxygen

For fucks sake. PM me the contacts, and I'll fucking do it!!!!!!
Feel better for that now, and not having a go at you Nick at all (those pesky nuances and misunderstandings) :)

p.s. soz about the swearing (used to be out of character for me til I joind the forum)

I agree they should just get on with it but there isn't that much wrong with trying to get more information before going to the effort to travel and meet up etc?

Might just be me, but if I had this fantastic offer I would have just used the facts of the offer to do the talking by now.

Maybe Michael and ML can just meet up in the Tudor Rose for a row? (not in boats, although they would look quite funny rowing up and down) Sort it out like Gypsys, they wouldn't put up with this.

I've found a solution...

Why don't they FaceTime each other.. Technically it's a call and a face to face meeting. That will satisfy each party.

That is exactly what the focus of the no more than an hour long (at most) introductory meeting would focus on. You have just composed the draft agenda there Nick.

I don't know the Tudor Rose, but the Sixfields Tavern is closer for me (happy to act as secretariat, but won't travel; 35 miles to Cov I'm afraid) :)

You'd think so but there'd be a problem... 'we will only agree to a meeting if the other lot each wear a comedy nose and a flower up their arse!'

Or, alternatively, wearing a flower with a nose up their arse (joke in there somewhere?) :(

I have given Cilla Black a call. She is happy to do a blind date style introduction.

Michael, will it be....

Number 1, Joy. As mysterious as david blane, and doesn't photo well with a camera up the nose.
Number 2, Tim, He doesn't posture and his main skill is turning two turkeys into an eagle
or Number 3, Mark. He lives in his own world where 3 weeks is a year.

So, who to contact Michael, the choice is yours

To be fair, this offer would have been "leaked" anyway to put ultimate pressure on SISU ;)

Just entered this thread for the first time and only read through the first few pages before I realised it was the same old repeated rubbish.

They are arguing over whether to have a phone call or an e-mail. Give me strength, last time I visit this thread.

Question for Michael Orton

Michael - what is the problem with answering some questions about the offer over the phone? Seems reasonable to me but you seem to be trying to sling mud at every opportunity. Take the phone call, answer the questions, then arrange a meeting by email if that is what you want to happen. To be fair to ML I wouldn't meet just on the details you have made public so, unless there was more detail provided to the club, his stance seems reasonable.

We don't need anyone else to be playing games with us, we've had quite enough of that already. Take the higher ground, pick up the damn phone and speak to the guy if you are serious. If you are not then drop the stupid game and stop giving us false hope, none of us deserve that - and you are supposed to be a fan like the rest of us, remember.

Of course its a bad thing!
If anyone puts pressure on SISU they might change course . We wouldnt want that to happen ,would we?

Have you read what I put? I was talking about if I was making this fantastic offer, it would be out there in detail to put pressure on ;)

But it's ok you can keep just taking things out of context if you like!
