Good fucking question. What did ML say when you asked it? I believe the official answer is "they're poopy heads" or something equally sensible.
Let's be sensible here. There is no real reason not to have a short term deal sorted while they do whatever they want. The only reason the deal looks ridiculous is because it's there to solve a ridiculous situation.
The deal's not an issue. The complete fuckwits putting it across however...

It's the biggest question to come out of all of this.
If you do not want to return to the Ricoh under any circumstances why agree to discuss the proposal.
If you are interested in returning on a short term deal. Which I am sure everyone agrees makes sense to everyone. Why bother with a third party call, ACL and tell what you want. They say no. If it was a reasonable suggestion, in the fans eyes you start to turn the tide of public opinion.

My personal opinion is that KCIC are being humoured, otherwise you know for a fact what the next headline would be.
One thing I was thinking though is why would ML speak to Michael on the phone and then get off the phone and try to make stuff up about him? Who would believe him? All it would do is give Michael an excuse, KCIC followers would be raging and no doubt a headline in the CET..
This is not me sticking up for anybody, just don't see the logic or maybe I am just cleverer than ML, these bloody Oxfords sorts!

Why is it ok for Michael to come on and throw digs around but not get them back?
At least the spurs fan could answer simple questions....

I can totally understand people are close to him and I can completely understand if there is personal abuse it is not on but the way people get so wound up by simple questions makes you wonder the faith they have in this offer really.

It was destined to fail the minute Michael wasn't willing to answer any questions about it when people who do care were asking him questions. (Not that I am saying people who didn't ask questions don't care). He should have come out and done everything people hate about SISU.

Somebody who has an amazing offer and really wants to put pressure on and has nothing to hide and wants all fans to get behind them and be united.
Somebody who constantly rants about lack of transparency from SISU and wants to show them how it should be done properly, how business should be carried out and how fans should be treated.
But obviously the chosen path is to just do exactly the same as SISU.

Perhaps if some fucking relevant terms had been set out properly - as in how the deal will actually work, is structured, are things in agreement on ACL's side etc then we wouldn't be here right now would we?

Is anybody really being attacked? (I had one dig I admit and since apologised) but the rest are just questions, hardly turning on him is it? I am sure you will agree he is partial to a dig himself.
Nobody is backing up SISU over a fan, they are asking questions because they care and want it to work. Wouldn't you prefer that people are constructive with criticism to potentially make the deal / way it is going better or somebody just to back pat over anything and everything and make him look even more of a tit?
What they wouldn't be laughing about is something that every fan could agree on and get behind which is what this offer had the potential to do. Can you not understand why people may be frustrating that things could be much different if things were handled better?
People do know how slippery SISU are, this is why I am disappointed that fans have gone along the same route, fair enough if they are the "bigger man" and set the standard of how things should be done and fail, but what happens when they act just as bad?

I think the whole situation from all sides during this episode has been pathetic, but because I am not brown nosing Michael, in your blinkered world that probably makes me not such a true fan as you, as to think differently to your opinion makes us all lesser than the Super fan you truly are.
I hope Michael succeeds, what he has tried to do is admirable but the fact that people cant question the direction the situation is going for fear of being labelled a Sisu lover or non fan by the likes of you, is laughable.
