Best option is now for the club to just get back to the Ricoh. I don't see sisu packing their bags.

OK, once the mutual masturbation is over. Can we think about what happens next? What about CCFC? Do you think SISU will up and leave now?
What if they now use the option to move the team out of Coventry?
It's their team, they hold the registration - they will have to put a case to the FA, but they already seem to have some sway there.
Could this be Joy's revenge for fans turning on her?

Still, look on the bright side, there'll be a great stadium available for Sphinx or Cov Utd if they want it, and a potential fan base of 10k.

Expect that they will find a way to appeal, or something else to get CCC, ACL et al in court. It is what they do; they don't really care if they win or lose a few as long as they keep people in court until they cave in and give up or go bust. All a bit tiresome really isn't it.

how can they go bust if they don't lose ?

And conversely, now that you mention it, if he's right, then in your very own words
'You *may* be in danger of looking a bit of a twat'

Not really, you all crowing about this decision thinking SISU are just going to walk away somehow? Makes oblivion even closer and you dont see it you blind twats.

Really don't see how that would have magically resolved things either.

Just a tactic... of greater concern is whatever the next tactic is.

Hopefully it's a nice cup of tea and a chat in Esquires!

I don't think magically resolved, I just think may have come to a resolution quicker. They are just going to appeal, so what then?

@stevecarpo: The #SkyBlues confirm they will appeal the decision after losing the JR but are now pressing on with plans to build a new stadium #PUSB

No, I don't think they will either. It was a question to the Mutual Masturbation Society members.

They may have got the result they want but can't see how this helps CCFC. Nothing else matters, does it?

So how would a sisu win have been good for the club?

Ha! Is that what you lot want? Cov Utd at the Ricoh?! 10K, you're in dreamland. We barely got that for CCFC matches.

None of it helps CCFC, whichever way the it went it's still the same old bollocks. I'm just pleased the posturing smug cunts failed in court.
Whatever happens now, it is what it is.

I agree... It actually was a sideshow - can't see what grounds they would have for an appeal.

Sensible thing now is to find a way back to Ricoh. Both sides need to make concessions for their own sake.

Simon Gilbert@TheSimonGilbert · 30s I have a full copy of the judgment and am writing up the findings to appear online@covtelegraph ASAP. In a nutshell, council win.

No end in sight then. Tbf they say this and I often find go opposite of what sisu say and you're more closer to the truth.

It wouldn't. I've said on many occasions I don't care who "wins" or "loses" as long as we come back to the Ricoh. It seems many just want CCC to win without actually thinking what comes next.

I can't see how this hastens our return to Coventry.

So how would a sisu win have been good for the club?

Well hopefully an appeal is resolved a bit quicker for a start! I honestly don't see how a SISU win would have seen a resolution faster. Problem is... I don't see a quick resolution full-stop!

Still, statement wars to come now the gag can be taken off:whistle:

Took us away from our city for no good reason.

Anything that hastens s I s u departure is good news for the supporters of Coventry City.

So, we know the council did absolutely nothing illegal, yet you would have been happy for them to be found guilty (resulting in costs for the taxpayer, and prosecutions against innocent individuals) just because the owners of your team want it?

That just won't happen. It's too much common sense Ian.

"Pressing ahead with new stadium plans".

I thought the JR had nothing to do with getting the Ricoh...?

Pressing on plans for a new stadium .........

oh my lord.

On the plus side(! yeah, I'm trying!) if (if!) they haven't released details of sites just because they wanted this out the way, we might at least find out if location is acceptable or not...

(usual caveats apply!)

FFS. How will this hasten their departure? They've already announced they are now pressing ahead with a new stadium, so really a "win" for CCC will probably lead to them sticking round for longer!

I am still concerned about how close Byng, HS2, and Birmingham airport could be to this.

Just maybe, but I doubt it because the likes of Ian, Andreas, RFC & Grendel are so embedded up ML & TF's arses !!
Maybe they can realise Sisu have lied to them ?

You could make arguments both ways about which result was best for ccfc and which would give a quicker resolution, really though we had no idea which is better for ccfc. We did know that sisu winning is bad for the city of Coventry though and we did know that sisu winning means the villains of the piece win so because of that I certainly am celebrating the fact sisu have lost.

what happens to ccfc we just have to wait and see I guess, but if sisu are appealing thats very bad news, relegation looms large,

would it really suprise anyone if sisu found some "forgotten evidence" at the bottom of a draw in someones desk giving them grounds for an appeal?

if they do find some "new evidence" would they have to start the whole JR again from the start? I.E. would they have to bring the new evidence to a judge for them to rule if there are grounds for appeal or can it just go straight to appeal?

One good thing...

I know all the nonsense spouted ;) and I know wherever they put it some may be divided.

At least if it *was* real, we could all make our decision whether to back it or not and get on with our lives!
