There you all go - pandering to this person. You will never get him to admit he/she is wrong.

Said it before and I'll say it again - ignore these pathetic posts as without the oxygen of publicity he/she will wither away.

Well - I can but dream ;)

I agree
Every time I see a post from Grendtwat (or RFC ) I just ignore it.
Lets face it he works for a company that has made 1000s redundant and moved away from Coventry

The rent repayments by CCFC / SISU would be on a sliding scale and would be more than offset by increasing ticket revenues. In all eventualities the club would be better off than being at sixfields.

Where was this sliding scale mentioned?

I saw that it was rent paid for if crowds under 5000 only.

Doesn't matter TF is now being brought out again and said no talks, blamed someone else to why and then stated it's all about the rev stream and not the rent!!!. Well if it wasn't about the rent TF you should of paid it, as for Mark is he still running round naked after his promise. This club is a joke, lies, spin and false promises by these owners, build the stadium stop talking and build it Sisu, no doubt Garlick will be paraded around soon as the fan with a plan....

Sisu please go, you have failed in every way possible, sell to the local businessman, who may have what you want in rights to the ricoh and if so tough shit.. Again it's on you that you failed to work with people who had the power to decide instead of trying to hurt them in every way possible, its time you let go and walked a way.. As i can't think of 1 positive that Sisu's ownership has brought the club or the fans,, those who defend i don't understand your stance. And if you don't like sisu stop picking holes in others attempt to change the future.

I never liked Sisu which is why picked holes in them from the start.

Majority of people not picking holes in things is why we ended up where we are.

Pretty much everybody who ends a post with "Sisu Out", used to end their posts with "Sisu saved us".

Why do you not pick holes in them now then?

Then maybe Mr Hoffman needs to put his money in to buying rights to revenue streams and offering these for free to the club.

If someone else is going to pay the clubs way (like you've suggested) then why are sisu here? they may as well take up the purchase offer from Mr Hoffman through KCIC, do one and let someone else run the club as a hole.

are you for real?

If he really is interested in helping. The last offer was just a publicity stunt they knew would be rejected. Otherwise they would surely have been more forthcoming with detail and been much more willing to take a phone call.

To be clear, I think it should be down to Sisu. They are the owners of the club. But they aren't exactly up to the task are they?

If only someone like Mr Hoffman could raise the funds to purchase the club. I'm sure we would be much better off. But, he has been unable to raise the funds to make a serious offer.

There is no easy answer here is there. The club is encumbered with so much debt it will be difficult to find anyone capable of buying the club. I personally don't think we are at rock bottom yet. I think we'll be dragged further down the leagues and stay in Northampton. The club as we knew it is dead now. We will never be back at the Ricoh and will have to play in some cow shed outside of Coventry. But hey, neither side gave in.

You don't need to apologise on my behalf.

Sorry Michael - I stand by every word I said.

Do you mean that you stand by every word you said against ACL and the council in this saga? If so, what is your take on the judges's comments? ( Which seem to vindicate the "council/ ACL lovers" and show SISU to be a bunch of Cayman Isles tax dodgers trying to get the arena on tage cheap by distressing ACL- only my opinion).

About 95% of people want Sisu out

About 95% of people wanted Sisu in.

They cross somewhere in that Venn diagram of support.
I wanted SISU in . Gave them the benefit of the doubt for some time . Now i want them out . Bad business practices , arrogant , Dont give a shit about the customer!
What of it?

True enough, access to revenues by virtue of busting ACL is what SISU want. However the fact remains that attendances of 10k+ even with higher rent will get more money flowing into the club than the pitiful crowds at Northampton. This has been about oneupmanship for a long time and the rejection of a deal which would improve club finances is perfect evidence of that.

By the by, we could always try to negotiate for access to revenues by buying out the shares in IEC, but that would be too straightforward wouldn't it?

You mean he is a director of a company which closed two factories in Coventry, are building an engine plant in Wolverhampton that company? oh and he encourages his clients to stay at other hotels so as not to support a company where his company sponsors a hall(presumably with his superiors approval). Who hates Coventry after all always puts it down, doesn't live in the city and would welcome a new ground outside the city that Grendel?

A curious rant.
I don't use the facility as frankly it's poor quality in my view and most experiences have been poor.
I want the club in Coventry not the Coventry area actually but I will not deny that I think coventry itself is a dreadfully poor place with a tawdry city centre that I avoid at all costs.

All things that were known about Sisu before they took over.

Don't cry when they behave as they always have done if you actively supported them coming in the first time.

To be fair. How is £52k for the club not a sensible offer?

I'd snap their hands off. We're a complete basket case, no-one will make money with us.

You sound like a typical Coventrian to me G. I don't know anyone that goes into the City Centre any more and as much as I like the Ricoh as a football ground, the hotel is awful.

Best thing they could do would be to turn Car Park C into a proper hotel, maybe see if Raddison still fancy it.

Fuck knows what you do with the City Centre, I favour a giant park, at least it'd be nice to look at.

I'm more interested to know how they will fund £4-5m losses whilst stopping the club haemorrhaging money whilst also investing in the team.....and whether said money is a loan or a gift to the club...

Funny how nobody knows anybody that goes into the centre of Coventry yet I've seen numerous people there. Or is it just my imagination?
