So you can have an illegal immigrant who commits serious crimes that can stay in this country because of their human rights and someone who has been working here for years paying tax and making a good life for themselves kicked out because they are an easier target.

They would both have the same human rights.

I have heard it said that old people become increasingly right wing and intolerant. There has been plenty of evidence on this thread

We sell a 22 year old home grown lad that missed 3 months of the season and still scored 22 goals to the first club who show us their cheque book and you praise them?
Still we have money in the bank and apparently thats what matters most:confused:.......Sisu and Tim Fisher annouce the sale of Wilson only when they have some new players ready to push in from of the media and the 100 or so fans that still give a toss, then await the backlash instead they get 'fans' like you blowing kisses up their arse, even they couldn't have predicted that.....The fans that still support Sisu now have the sort of club they deserve...enjoy

ps Did you get your new away kit yet? hold off having a name put on it for a while as I hear Sisu are about to splash some cash!!!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Ha ha ha! Blowing kisses up their arse....good one :claping hands:

To get back on thread, apart from Samo giving Leon Clarke as a Freebie that has been sold on....Still waiting for Nick to reply with his freebies(Plural) that have been sold on!......and DON'T count academy players that came through the ranks either!!!...........I prefer to think about players that were brought in that commanded big transfer fees but let "Walk away" at the end of their contracts...Westwood, Gunnar, to name but two, anyone?

Would you say that Lee Rigby, or a man with a big heart that fought for Great Britain(Ghurkas) had more or less "Human rights" as the 2 fucking wankers that killed Lee Rigby and Anjem Choudry who "Groomed" them....listen to this shit...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR9atcoONXQ

The human rights enshrined within the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which has been incorporated into UK law by the Human Rights Act 1998, apply to everyone, including convicted criminals. Some of these rights are absolute, such as the right not to be subjected to torture or inhuman and degrading treatment; however, some rights are subject to limitations and, if there is a good legal basis for doing so, they can be restricted. Consequently, the human rights of convicted criminals are limited in some circumstances.

This is law, not opinion.

The quote I provided answered that, clearly and succinctly: The human rights enshrined within the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which has been incorporated into UK law by the Human Rights Act 1998, apply to everyone, including convicted criminals.

If you want a detailed breakdown of the exact human rights Mr Rigby had, you can find them detailed here: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1998/42/contents

Yes, and rights get violated. That is why we have criminal law.

Fair play? Fair fucking play?! Thats our best player gone and not replaced. This is SISU remember. What happened when we sold Bigi and Keogh amongst others in our relegation season? We bought in Adam Barton for 200k. He was the only cash signing. Where did the rest of that £3m+ go? The same with the Leon Clarke deal. Free transfers and loanees. Thats all we will get. And where will that £3M go i hear you ask? INTO JOY SPEALLA'S BACK FUCKING POCKET!

£3m+???? They went for deals worth £1m each IIRC and that would a have included add ons. You do realise we lost £7.2m at the Ricoh that season (whilst not paying rent), that money went on operating costs, not into Joy Seppala's back pocket.

Come on then. What do my posts help to tell you about me?

That you are "old school" - cut from the same cloth as Sky Blue Kid. A typical tub thumping working class Tory who wants to out the "great" back into Britain. Return it to the halcyon days of the 50's and 60's. after a then;

It was illegal to be gay
Women who went to work for frowned upon
Women who did go to work would be paid less then males doing the same job
Most women who were abused would never report it as they would be more often than not viewed as "asking for it"
Racism was tolerated and in some instances actively encouraged

That's what your posts say to me.

I am unsure why you are providing me with these links. We are not having a discussion about the merits and drawbacks of the human rights act -- just clarifying its coverage for all.

But I will say there is an irony to the two links: those mentioned in the BBC article suffer because of immigration hysteria peddled by the Daily Mail. Politicians rush through hotchpotch, thoughtless legislation to tame the beast. It is also worth noting that, despite the headline, it would seem the vast majority of those foreign criminals are in the hands of the law, undergoing criminal proceedings, and awaiting deportation.

Filtering the facts from the bile in the Mail is always a trying experience.
