The Football League sanctioned a move to Northamoton when it has now been proven there was no need to ! SISU appear to have pulled the wool over the FL's eyes well and truly. This in itself gives just cause for the FL to withdraw it's consent and instruct SISU to return to the Ricoh, surely ?

Agreed !!
Plenty on here would have you believe this is not possible though.
They also say that Sisu would sue the FL.
The problem with that is they would lose the golden share if they sued the FL. Also it would bring into court the whole admin process. I'm all for this but I doubt very much Sisu would want this in court.

SISU are in dispute with landlord... FL can't dictate to a private business...nothing has changed even if it was SISU's choice to move and they weren't forced out. They going to build a new stadium and have bought themselves 5 years to dick about.

The FL keep stating that they can't get involved in a dispute between the club and their landlord but isn't this exactly what they did when they sanctioned the move to Northampton.

In fact you could say that they got involved with a club and two landlord's when they said sisu need to pay the old landlord £590k and yes you can sign with a new Landlord.

The least involvement they could have had is by saying we won't sanction a ground share and if you can't sort it by 2weeks before the kickoff of the new season you will be expelled and no mention of the £590k.

All they've done is exacerbate the situation and I think sisu were smart enough to realise that the FL is dumb enough to assist them in this.

Then we need to go to someone who does care!!!

I suggest FIFA!

I would say that the FL would be next point of call but they've already washed their hands of it, so UEFA might be the next place but they'll follow suit of the FL and then FIFA would just do the same.

I think we'd be better off targeting the sponsors of the football league and the FA. These are the only opinions that matter to the UK footballing "authorities".

Sisu can tread water for acouple of years yet ,running the club on a shoestring. The FL cant be seen to be going against the money stream (the investors).
Just shows what a greedy ,money grabbing lot are in control of the English football game . Look where it got us in the world cup ! This is why our efforts to resolve the situation have fallen on deaf ears . The FL doesnt want to bite the hand that feeds . Think we need to look to ratchet it up a bit . Only direct action is now going to make people listen

As far as the FL are concerned - as long as we fulfill our fixtures with a plan in place to return to the city then they are supposedly not bothered. If this plan doesn't happen then won't SISU have to pay £1 million for something?

I know it's well meaning but the football league are not the way to go. Yes agreed they should do something and they have the power but they won't do anything 100%.

The only way back home is not the fl and is not third parties or matches or protests but getting the two parties back talking and sorting it once and for all. That's the only way.

Sorry but what's the point ?
One side is not interested in negotiation !!
They need to be forced/shamed into action which is where protests, media and FL come in !!

Yes I'm 100% but it won't work and has been proved not to work.

Only way they will come home is ACL and sisu doing a deal. This has always been the case.

We relied on the FL and FA and they have let us down. Last years march was pointless and protests outside council house and FL headquarters are a waste of time.

And how much would it cost the FL in litigation in an attempt to get the 1m if it ever got that far?

Would they have the bottle to take the legal route to get the money? Don't think so.

The 1m bond is strangely a retrospective bond? Unlike a certain non league club who had to pay theirs up front? Now there is fair play rules; Hedge Fund vs Grass Roots FC!
