I go to all the away fixtures I can, but it's not enough for me.

As your back in Cov now, surely away games are more available to you? Cheap travel on Harry Shaw, Cov is central to the rest of England etc....?
True enough, but the last time I lived in Cov I was a season ticket holder, I am not going to go that far yet but I need to give this a go, I don't want the odd two matches a month, I need more than that.
I'd recommend the hill first. As you know I went to the hill once last season, and it's heartbreaking. May go to the hill more this season, but would rather spend the money going away. Bradford away btw?
As I said to Tony though Mustafa I can't see the point in spending the money in travel to go up there and stand on the hill, you might as well enter the ground, but that's me personally.
Does a leopard have spots? Of course I'll be there
Don't encourage sisu? Why would that be a consideration if you want to watch the team?
Yeahh I know what you mean. They do have a KFC nearby btw
Sweet, I was thinking of going up on the Friday, and get a hotel for til Sunday. Work out cheaper than train from down 'ere
Don't encourage sisu?
Being honest, the only atmosphere is the away end and the hill. It's actually sad listening to 30/40 people trying to start 'PUSB' behind the goal. Not once have the Sixfielders outsung the away fans, which is depressing.
The atmosphere on the hill is usually great, the people up there a brilliant, everyone gets on and are always willing to have a sing song, even when it's minus 10 on a Tuesday in early February against a minow.
The best fans were Stevenage. They were immense, 400 of them didn't shut up and each song could be heard clearly from the hill.
I know it has been said before if no one went to sxfeilds in the beginning this nonsense would of been over after the first game.and as for away games .its my way of saying I'll support my team but not the idiots in charge.Encourage what? I assume those who go to away games are "encouraging" them as well are they?
Some say the atmosphere in Sixfields, is akin to screaming in outerspace....Some say the "Chant Leader" is the love child of Paddington Bear and Pamela Anderson...All we know is.......................................................................................He's called the "Stig"
A question for all the attendees of Sixfields, with regards to the Ground and the atmosphere, where does the atmosphere come from within the Ground and what is the pricing for seats in that area roughly? I tried calling the Club shop but they won't answer.
If you don't attend of Sixfields or don't like my question don't respond on my thread please, Thanks.
When they start re-developing Sixfields, will that mean the view from the hill will be reduced?
But you clearly don't want to protest yourself. How odd.
Atmosphere? There ain't any. But I've been to plenty of games at the Ricoh and some at HR that didn't have atmosphere either. I guess the difference is you're guaranteed to have no atmosphere at Sixfields. There was one game though where there was surprisingly quite a bit of singing. Can't remember which one. The away fans tend to be quiet unless they bring a lot; Wolves being an example.
Last season I was the last block before the JSBs, so lots of families around me. Not much singing, though it did happen on occasion, but quite a few excited kids - they don't let the politics of it all affect them like us adults. This season I'll be sitting slightly more towards the Hill end goal in the JSB section.
If there is singing it does tend to be from behind the goal.
Can't remember ever hearing anything from the hill, apart from the whistle a couple of times.
But you clearly don't want to protest yourself. How odd.

I got a ticket for behind the Goal, I'll give it a go and see what happens, although I'd prefer that a deal is reached to play at the Ricoh before then.

I never though I would see the day. Such a shame.
Nice one. That's what it's about. Support. Leave the politics to others. Not everyone agrees but people rarely do.If I am honest KOK it's a decision I have made with a heavy heart, but at the end of the day I want to see my Club play Football, of course I would rather that be at the Ricoh but at the moment it's not meant to be. People I know have asked me if I will get a Season Ticket, I won't commit to that, I will give the Cardiff fixture a go and see what happens.
I am not going for the excitement of Northampton or because Sixfields is a wonderful stadium or because I support Sisu, I spent five years of my life living in Devon not being able to regularly get to games, now that I have moved back home I won't let a short train journey stop me from seeing the Club I was born to support.

Robo it's completely yor decision as we know but it's not about the money as what's a Cardiff ticket? £10? But it's morally wrong. It's politics sure and we are all sick to death of it sure but fight in what you believe and if you believe Coventry should be playing in Coventry then you shouldn't go IMO.
It's for this reason I won't go. It's not about money or logistics it's just morally wrong so on that basis I would go if I was given a season ticket for free and free travel to every game. It's not so much nopm for me it's more just morally wrong.
No one loves the sky blues more than me and we all feel the same. Coventry city needs to play in Coventry. Yes it's all bs and politics but morally it's wrong. Buying a ticket is like agreeing with the move to me IMO of course. The majority don't go for a reason Robo. Just goes to show how this who saga plays with people's emotions and I know you and Coventryismyfaith are both genuine and just want to watch your team. You said yourself you want to watch the team you were born to watch so watch them with the name in the team. We will be back one day mate we all want to go and watch Cov heck I've been tempted many time to go sixfields especially when playing so well but I always stopped myself.
Emotions get in the way and this is what sisu play on. Your emotion. Today's statement is smacks of desperation and panic although I do applaud it as we need to come home. Else there will be no ccfc to watch in 3 years time.
Sisu need to come home bigtime and they may finally see sense. I don't get people who won't come back if we do come back to Ricoh as this achieves nothing although again I don't blame them as they have been let down massively. I would be back season ticket if we came home sisu or not.
To conclude, do what you want Robo and I said the same to Coventryismyfaith and this is no way a critical post before torch and Grendel come on. Robo is allowed to do what he wants. I just wanted to say my piece from one fan to another.

Just while you here KOK I just wanted to say how I respect you, never calling posters names or being hypocritical but putting your views over in a soffisticated manner !!! #PUSB !!! Although we have different views in what is right, but you go about it in the right manner, hopefully we are back before it's not too late !!! #PUSB !!!Robo it's completely yor decision as we know but it's not about the money as what's a Cardiff ticket? £10?
