So at today's meeting... tanned up gay boy Ken mentioned that there were no principal investors.

Using the pot kettle blah blah scenario...

THERE WERE NO REPRESENTATIVES FROM SISU AT THE MEETING!

Even Iggy Pop Nigerian Bank Scam Man was not there. The SISU rep for the Coventry project :pointlaugh:

SISU don't need to be present at those meetings.
The board are appointed to take care of things - if the board receives an offer they think will benefit the club they are obliged to take it to the investors.

However - the board are right to ask Hoffmans PRINCIPAL investor to be present, or at the very least some kind of evidence that Hoffman indeed represent him.
And again - a principal investor is the main investor - not a group chairman.

There was one principle investor the chair for the group (who will have been also appointed to handle the talks on behalf of the rest) The only reason SISU have released this statement is to somehow try discredit GH and his baackers. Onwye iggypop is a board member so if ur explanation is correct he should have been there.

SISU have a history of bending the truth, not only with CCFC but a few of their previous enterprises, as reported in the financial papers in the past. Simply put the board are tryin to turn fans against GH.

A principal investor is NOT the same as a group chairman. The principal investor will be the one who puts in the majority of the money. Clearly it was neither of the guys at the meeting.

Iggy pop should have been there as he is the sisu rep on the ccfc board. End of.

This was the first meeting between the hoff group and ccfc.

There is no way all the investors would come to this meeting.

At the initial meeting the group chairman of investors is good enough as he would be one of the major investors.

Only know from gauging the opinions of the ccfc board can they make a serious offer.

£1 offer is a common tactic used to show takeover interest. In manu business a very low offer comes in word of mouth.

Only now will an initial offer on headed paper come in.

A lot of people on here were basically saying that yesterday's meeting was "it", Hoff was riding his white horse and saving the Club. However, how many meetings will have to take place for they're even in a position to reach an agreement? It'll probably take months. Hopefully, at the very least SISU buy ALF and other player so that we can start to climb the table.

SISU won't give a hoot WHO the investers are. They just want to cash in and get their money back...no way are they going to sell for a pound.

Exactly. And who can blame them? They want their money back and so would I.

SISU can't have their cake and eat it.

The club is worthless. If you look at the balance sheet from 09/10 accounts the club's net value is well into -ve millions.

There are two real options:

The £1 bid for the club - I would accept this, as SISU, as the club continues to lose cash in the hundreds of thousands every month. Cut the losses and walk away.

OR

Just to simply get them out of CCFC - Offer the £30 million invested less the losses incurred since the take over, approx £20 mill upto current time. Therefore offer £10m. This is what the SISU investment is now worth.

No way should they get the £30 mill back. They invested, the club made losses, the money is gone. It's called business.

I agree, but you've heard the stories of SISU being ruthless ball-breakers. It ain't gonna be easy, that's all I'm saying. I can't see them walking away without something.
