didnt say i believe it, i said makes you think

what is wrong with you guys? any one who looks at thing objectively is branded a sisu lover.

Objectively? Take an objective look through the posts on this thread and tell me what your problem is with this chap called Michael ,cus the way youve rounded on him he must have done something more than ,merely put pressure on SISU

hes defensive, hes bias yet trying to play neutral peace keeper and his immaturity is not helping anyone bridge the gap. part of the problem not the solution.

hope that answers your question.

Problem is people only see black and white. There has to be only one side that is wrong but that is often not the case. Let's remember it was partly Hoffman's fault we are in this mess in the first place.

Exactly, he was around when shit was hitting the fan financially at the club... did he speak up then? nope, even worked under SISU for a while until they got rid.

One and the same as Joe Elliott, I still cringe about that legends game where people worshiped him.

yeah makes you think, remember that stuff with hoff and the letterheaded paper? maybe it was him who immature and unprofessional and not sisu after all.

My understanding of that is that the people behind the deal wanted to stay in the shadows until it was signed on the dotted line.
Ken saw the deal and said it would be acceptable to SISU once he briefed them.
He insisted on knowing the names of the people involved (rightly so). He was again told of the importance of that information not leaking out.
Then before he briefs SISU he asks for assurances he would remain as chairman under the new owners.
He is categorically told that is not possible.
Next day the story appears in the Sun about the offer and Ken briefs against it.

Who told you that then?

Well, having read this thread and others, while trying to look at our situation objectively and impartially, it seems like anyone ever connected to the club is to blame for the mess we are in; including the fans.

In fact the one constant in the timeline is the fans. The squabbling on here proves the fans aren't divided, but consist of hundreds of fragments.

Anyone who puts their head out of the trench to try and unite things gets derided and criticised by posters who do little except criticise other posters.

Perhaps we have ended up with the club we deserve.

Society ends up with the politicians it deserves.... I'd agree, for society elects them... whilst I take your point, I'd politely disagree its what we, as CCFC fans deserve.

There is a lot of sarcasm in my post. I don't think it is the fans fault, but reading the attitudes and egos and petty battles on here, I am no longer proud of our fan base like I once was.

Another thread skillfully derailed.

Beat me to it smmeee. Perfectly valid points raised, followed by posters pointlessly trying to pick holes and score points, followed by lots of people quoting back at each other and the main gist of it being lost in recriminations.

Saved for use in every SBT thread ever.

Are the valid points the things you agree with and the "trying to pick holes" the bits you disagree with?

Totally agree. People like the Trust, KCIC etc are trying to get us home. Maybe they make mistakes, maybe some of them are "enjoying it". But the snipers on here will just nit pick regardless. I suppose it's the in make-up of internet board frequenters. All talk (typing) no action. (I know I'm one as well). They just look for any poorly constructed argument, misspelling, jaundiced angle to score a cheap point on a board read my a microcosm of humanity..... Yeah think we are the problem ...and we probably have the club we deserve.

(Note to self.... Must look up the definition of Club)

I agree with this totally, even if it is a little tongue in cheek.

(as a whole) we under-supported the team for years.

(as a whole) we then moan when we can't all get tickets for the latest big cup or away game.

(as a whole) we moaned like fuck about leaving Highfield Road for the 'inaccessible' Ricoh Arena.

(as a whole) we were delerious with happiness when SISU saved us. Can almost see the posts rejoicing the fact that 'stubborn, hard-nosed businessmen (or women) who "won't take shit from anyone" are in charge'

(as a whole) we agreed that the club had no money and had to be run on a tight leash, but then rounded on the owners when the latest bright prospect was sold (something that we always did even during the 'glory years' anyway.

I could go on.

Cov back to the Ricoh (or whatever they are called - Rob S' group) are/were trying to help bring us home too but they got snipers too. Surprisingly it was mostly those complaining about sniping that were doing the sniping in that instance. Clearly different rules must apply to different people. Very confusing.

Nobody should be above criticism, no matter how good their intentions may be or how little their critics are doing in comparison. It's the same kind of thing that will see someone be appalled 'fellow fans' are being abused about two seconds before launching into a 'usual suspects' tirade.

Love how the usual shouty types are now giving it all 'thread derailed' and 'people always pick holes and look for spelling mistakes'

Pathetic.

Don't know what group you are on about, so can't comment specifically. But even so this just proves the point.

So are you a member of the Judaen Popular Front, or the Popular Front of Judea ?
